Yukiko's primary use in this fight should be as your healer, but if everyone is in good shape, Escapist Soldier still takes normal damage from Yukiko's fire magic.
With her Fire Boost, this can chip away a good chunk if healing isn't necessary that turn.
Recommended Level And Personas
With Escapist Soldier at Lv. 47, we'd recommend being between Lv. 47-50 for the easiest time in this fight.
Ice magic is your best bet for dealing the most damage to Escapist Soldier, so Black Frost being able to deal ice damage while being immune to dark magic is a win-win.
If you're more of a defensive Persona user, you'll have a bevy of physical and dark attacks coming your way, so bring someone who resists physical damage.
Baphomet is a solid choice for this, provided you level it to Lv. 50 first. At Lv. 50, it learns Dodge Physical to double your evasion against physical attacks. Its innate dark nullification is an additional bonus on top of this, making you truly tough to hit.

* While Escapist Soldier is technically marked in the game as being strong to physical attacks, all physical attacks still do normal damage.

Escapist Solider Battle Strategy
Without a doubt the most major irritation you and the Investigation Team will face during this battle is with the status ailments that Escapist Soldier can (and regularly will) inflict.
It uses both Foul Breath and Stagnant Air regularly during the battle to add a layer of certainty to the additional effects of its physical attacks.
Confusion will make it so that your teammates attack one another while also possibly healing Escapist Soldier, and rage locks anyone afflicted into using their default physical attacks only.
Because of this, you'll want to keep Yukiko focused on healing and removing ailments as needed. Rage isn't as detrimental to the team as confusion, but both will see you wasting turns on moves that aren't as effective, prolonging the battle.
And while Escapist Soldier is primarily a physical attacker, don't forget about Mudoon. It has a 60 percent chance to instantly kill each of the members of the Investigation Team.
If Yukiko is taken out by a stray Mudoon, have someone else who survived revive her immediately with an item so that she can get back to work on patching up the team with SP.
Keep Yosuke and Teddie on offense throughout the fight, as their magic will do the most damage to Escapist Solider. Have them focus on magic attacks over physical.
One of the best uses for Yu in this battle, if you're not focused on outright damage, is using buffs, debuffs, and performing additional healing. Yosuke and Teddie will do a good amount of damage alone, and buffing them and debuffing Escapist Soldier will only increase that amount.
Overall, as long as you keep abreast of the status ailment, the fight is pretty outright. Take out Escapist Soldier for a sweet boost to your Courage stat.
