A reliable Persona leaker has claimed that Persona 3 Reload will receive DLC that adds The Answer epilogue from Persona 3 FES, but that it won't be getting the main thing everyone is asking for - Kotone from P3 Portable.

Persona 3 Reload is almost upon us and, while the reviews are mostly positive so far and seem particularly exciting for anyone that got into the series thanks to Persona 5, it's not all good news. One of the main problems fans have had with Reload since it was first announced is that, despite being a remake, it's not going to be the definitive package - just like the other versions of Persona 3.

You might want to take some notes here, but the non-Reload version of Persona 3 has three versions - Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, and Persona 3 Portable, each with different features that make them stand out from the others. Strangely, despite being the chance to unite all the different releases, Persona 3 Reload doesn't have anything from FES or Portable... at least, not yet.

According to reliable Persona leaker MbKKssTBhz5, who has previously shared lots of information about the series and its upcoming games, Persona 3 Reload will receive DLC in the future that contains Persona 3 FES' epilogue to the main game called The Answer. They say that multiple bits of DLC are planned for Persona 3 Reload which will be released within this fiscal year, a DLC strategy inspired by some of Sega's other recent releases.

As divisive as Persona 3 FES' The Answer is with some fans, it should be good news to see more of the unique features from other versions of the game join Reload. There's seemingly some bad news alongside it, though, as the one bit of DLC everyone was really hoping for, the playable female protagonist known as Kotone from Persona 3 Portable, seemingly isn't coming to the game at all.

And there is no FeMC in any of the DLC, this includes cosmetics and music that will be added in part of this DLC.

If true, which a lot of MbKKssTBhz5's leaks have been, then it's a bit of a strange decision to not even have a costume or reference to Kotone within Reload's DLC plans. It's possible that these plans will change in the future, but for now it looks like the most fan-requested bit of content for Persona 3 isn't coming any time soon.
