As you ascend Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload, you'll encounter multiple Gatekeepers that prevent you from moving to the next floor. Each of these mini-bosses is formidable, and it will take a good strategy to beat them. It's a good idea to prepare before rushing into these battles, as you don't want to lose any progress you've made in Tartarus by recklessly starting a fight.

PostsThe Chaos Panzer is the first Gatekeeper you'll come across after more of Tartarus opens up in December, and they're not alone. Here's everything you need to know to beat them and reach the next floor.
Chaos Panzer Overview
When you reach floor 188 in Tartarus, you'll encounter Chaos Panzer and two Resentful Surveillants. When paired together, these three shadows make a fearsome team.
While Chaos Panzer doesn't have any weaknesses, you'll want to avoid using Agi and Garu skills, as they are nullified. Additionally, avoid using any Light skills, as they will reflect.
Chaos Panzer uses Pierce attacks, so bring Personas that can handle taking lots of physical damage. Below is a breakdown of Chaos Panzer's affinities and abilities:

Resentful Surveillant Overview
The Resentful Surveillant duo is difficult, though they are weak to Slash attacks. However, they will buff and debuff throughout the battle.

Best Party Composition
The best party members to bring for this battle are Yukari, Junpei, and Aigis. Yukari will take the lead for support, making sure that everyone's HP stays high. Junpei can use slash attacks to knock down the Resentful Surveillant duo, and Aigis is a tank-like unit that can absorb damage and deal more physical attacks.
While you can bring Koromaru behind for this, he's not the best fit as his Dark attacks will be nullified. While he can use slash attacks, you'll likely want him to sit this fight out until he can be of more use. Also, leave Mitsuru out lest her weakness to fire be exploited.
How To Defeat Chaos Panzer
The first step to defeating Chaos Panzer is to defeat the Resentful Surveillant duo first. Removing their buffs will waste precious turns, so eliminating them is the best option. From there, use Theury attacks to deplete Chaos Panzer's HP.
Whenever the Chaos Panzer uses Charge, guard your characters so that they survive. Above all, prioritize the protagonist's HP. If it reaches zero, it's game over.
Attack Mirror is a useful item for reflecting Physical Skills!
To avoid that, use debuffs to reduce the attack of the Chaos Panzer and buff your party's defense. Rinse and repeat until you've defeated the Chaos Panzer and can move on to the next floor.
