Some of these voices may be new to the Persona series, but you've definitely heard them elsewhere before.
PostsNot only does Spastic Turret relentlessly call Slaughter Drives into battle, ensuring it always has a support Shadow, but Slaughter Drive will spam Makarakarn to keep Spastic Turret nice and protected while it’s on the field. Heavy elemental magic will be your friend in this boss fight.
Spastic Turret Weaknesses And Attacks
The team setup that you take with you into the Spastic Turret battle on Ptolomea B8 is mostly left to your discretion, depending on who deals the best Ice and Electric magic, since those are the two primary elements you'll need offensively. The main Shadow is weak to Ice, but the support Shadow it continues to summon will be weak to Electric, so cover your elemental magic bases.
The Shadows here also have access to Neuro Slash, which may leave your team dealing with some Confusion. Because of this, it's quintessential to be able to heal status ailments, whether that's using a healer teammate or stocking up on items before the fight at Aohige Pharmacy.
The team setup we recommend for the Spastic Turret fight in Persona 3 Reload is:
- Mitsuru for her increasingly good Ice magic, which is essential to dispatching Spastic Turret and ending the fight.
- Akihiko covers the Electric magic we need and can safely be left to deal with the Slaughter Drives in battle.
- Yukari rounds out the team with her strong healing magic, especially if she's got access to Amrita Drop or Amrita Shower for the status ailments.

PostsHow To Beat Spastic Turret And Slaughter Drive
The battle against the Spastic Turret in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis can be kind of frustrating, since not only will Spastic Turret continuously summon new support Shadows throughout the duration of your fight, but what hurts Spastic Turret the most actually heals Slaughter Drive, making multi-target moves almost completely ineffective here.
That said, if you take down the Slaughter Drive on the field, you can force Spastic Turret to waste a turn summoning a new support Shadow, since any turn it spends not directly attacking you is always good news for you and the party.
An additional layer of frustration here comes in that Slaughter Drive will keep using Makarakarn to protect Spastic Turret, leaving you without some of your biggest damage-dealing moves when it's potentially the most vulnerable and about to go down. When it's behind Makarakarn, you'll need to have a teammate break the wall using an element they block.
Frustratingly, both Shadows can evade the element to which they're weak, so it may take a few hits to finally take them down. To get around this, it's helpful to make sure Aigis has Personas that can use Ice and Electric magic as well, to allow your team to double down on the offense.
Rewards For Defeating Spastic Turret In Episode Aigis
Once the Spastic Turret Shadow has finally been taken care of, finish off the Slaughter Drive if it's still left on the field and the battle will be won! For your victory, you'll need to use seven Twilight Fragments on the chests up ahead, since the items for awakening your team's characteristics have begun to cost two Twilight Fragments each in the Ptolomea door.
Here, they contain:
- Masters of Strength, a Linked Episode item for Akihiko's second characteristic.
- Aristocracy, a rapier for Mitsuru.
- Dog Toy, which oddly enough is for Mitsuru's next characteristic.
Additionally, you'll receive the Chariot Major Arcana card following the battle with Spastic Turret in Persona 3 Reload. When chosen from Shuffle Time, the Chariot major arcana card immediately and permanently increases Aigis' max HP by ten points.
