Killer Twins Weaknesses And Attacks
Once you've pushed on through the first section of the Judecca door in the Abyss of Time, you'll find your first boss Shadow battle for the section on Judecca B8, with the usual checkpoint floor just above it on Judecca B7. With so many status ailments and two types of heavy magic damage types coming your way in this fight, we recommend the following teammates for the Kiler Twins fight:
- Yukari, since you're up against a number of status ailments in this fight and her healing magic and status ailment-clearing moves are somewhat essential.
- Her Electric weakness is something of a problem, with Red Sigil using Ziodyne, so equip her with an accessory that grants Elec Dodge if you've got one.
- Metis not only doesn't have weaknesses the boss Shadows here can exploit, but she's got access to Ice Magic to hit Killer Twins.
- Koromaru can round the team out well, since he's got Fire magic to use offensively and also isn't hurt by it defensively, removing one of Red Sigil's more dangerous attacks with Agidyne.

PostsHow To Beat Killer Twins And Red Sigil
The biggest thing you'll need to worry about during the battle with Killer Twins and Red Sigil is that Killer Twins will consistently try to hit you with status ailments, which can be quite a thorn in your side in terms of battle strategy if your teammates refuse to act the way you'd like them to. The ailments you're up against specifically are Poison and Distress, which sap your life after every turn and make it possible that teammate will run away from battle, respectively.
Because of this, though Killer Twins is the primary boss Shadow here, Killer Twins acts like a support Shadow, consistently inflicting ailments instead of dealing outright damage (unless Virus Breath hits). It's hoping to play mind games with your team while Red Sigil handles their damage-dealing offense, so it's not a bad idea to take out Red Sigil first to avoid taking too much damage before dealing much yourself, especially if you have a teammate weak to electric or wind here.
This is why we suggested bringing Yukari, since she'll have the ability to cure status ailments as soon as possible, since every turn your team spends afflicted is a turn you risk not dealing damage (and potentially taking some lethal damage yourselves) is a turn wasted. Not only that, but both Shadows take normal damage from Wind magic, so if Yukari isn't healing on her turn, she can still do some damage to the pair of boss Shadows.
In general, it's wise to delegate one teammate as your healer during the battle and leave the other three to focus on offense to take out the Shadows before they deal too much damage. We left Yukari to heal while Aigis, Metis, and Koromaru hit the enemies offensively.
