Palworld presents a new take on the survival genre, mixing it up with monster collecting through the Pals, elemental-powered creatures that roam around the world. The many pals introduced in this game come in many shapes and colors, but some are stronger than others.

Between the strongest that can be found, you'll meet the Boss Pals, powered-up versions that act as a challenge for you to meet throughout your journey. One of those bosses is the Quivern, a Dragon-type dungeon boss, and here we'll tell you everything about it.

Palworld is currently in Early Access, and as such, the content is subject to change. We will update our articles as needed.

Where To Find Quivern

The Quivern boss can be found within a dungeon located in the coordinates -255, -130, a bit to the North of the Sealed Realm Of The Winged Tyrant teleport statue. When you arrive at this location, you'll have to enter through a circle of blue light to get inside the dungeon, and the fight will begin shortly after.

Dragon

Sky Dragon's Affection: Can be ridden as a flying mount. Applies Dragon damage to the player's attacks while mounted.

Draconic Breath - Dragon-type Attack, 70 Power.

Acid Rain - Water-type Attack, 80 Power.

Spirit Fire - Fire-type Attack, 45 Power.

How To Beat Quivern

The Quivern will employ three different elements, so you must keep in mind to bring a wide variety of Pals that can face it properly. For your team, you will want Ice-type Pals that can inflict some bonus damage to Dragon-types such as Chillet, or any Pal who resists Dragon, Ice, or Fire-type attacks with ease, like Penking or Grizzbolt.

On the weapon side, any Crossbow or the Musket will be enough for you to face this boss, but if you feel courageous you can also bring the Stun Baton, as long as you're comfortable to keep a close distance.

Of course, you should also learn the Quivern's attack moves; Draconic Breath will be a continuous stream of fire that will inflict a lot of Dragon-type damage, then Acid Rain is an AoE attack that will follow you for a bit while dealing Water-type damage, and last, Spirit Fire is a short barrage of minor Fire Damage. All of those attacks are easily avoidable as long as you keep rolling or moving around, so you shouldn't be in much trouble as long as you're properly equipped with the best updates you can get at level 23.

Once you defeat or capture this boss Pal, you will obtain the following items:

  • Ancient Civilization Parts.
  • Precious Plume.
  • High-Quality Pal Oil.
