Palworld lets you create many structures and items to improve your base, collect resources, and help your Pals. For instance, you can create a Bed, letting you sleep through the evening if you don't want to explore, or it gets too cold. However, you can't put a Bed on any surface, which can be frustrating.

How To Unlock A Bed
If you want to get a Shoddy Bed, you need to reach Player Level Three, which you'll accomplish by performing tasks. Simply fight enemies, collect resources, and explore to gain experience.
You can open your Inventory, go to the Technology tab, and unlock the Shoddy Bed to gain access to it.
Required Materials To Make A Bed
A Shoddy Bed requires 20 Wood, five Fiber, and one Wool.

Wood
You can collect Wood on the ground or by cutting down trees.
Fiber
You must break down a tree to get Fiber. Axes are the best tools to use, though you can also use other tools, weapons, and even your fists.
Wool
Defeat or capture enemies with Wool, such as Lamballs. You'll find plenty of them around the Plateau of Beginnings, where you start the game.
How To Place A Bed
You can't put a bed on the ground: you need to have a Foundation and Roof. You can unlock them by reaching Player Level Two and unlocking the Wooden Structure Set.
If you want the simplest design to make a Bed, build a Foundation, attach a Wall to it, and place a Roof over the Foundation. This setup meets the minimum requirements, so select a Bed from the Build menu, place it on the Foundation, and then build it.
If you have Pals in your base, they'll help you build it if they have the Handiwork Skill.
Pal Beds And Other Beds
You can also build a Pal Bed, with ten Wood and five fiber, which you can place on the ground or a Foundation. This gives you more flexibility with placement compared to Beds.
You can unlock more Beds and Pals Beds as you gain Player Levels.
