Forget five-star resorts, enemy camps are where the real action is in Palworld. Below walks you through some of the nitty-gritty of these outposts, from the random critters you might find to the best ways to snag them without getting pummeled.
Enemy Camp Dynamics

Random Pals
Pals found in enemy camps are randomly selected.
Respawn Mechanics in Camps
After rescuing a Pal from a camp, both enemies and Pals respawn after a certain period. The newly spawned Pal is also randomly selected.
Free Pal Acquisition
Rescuing a Pal from a camp allows them to become one of your Pals without spending any Spheres.
Invest in Rescuing Pals
In the early and mid-game, rescuing Pals from camps is a good investment because you can obtain valuable Pals that you wouldn't normally have a chance to capture.
Locating Enemy Camps
Unlike Lifmunk Effigies and Dungeons, finding enemy camps is quite easy. By getting close to the coordinates provided in this guide, you can locate the camp thanks to the smoke emanating from the campfire.
Enemy Strength Scaling
The strength of enemies in camps increases parallel to the level of the island where the camp is located.
Strategic Pal Rescuing
If you want to acquire a Pal without dealing with enemies, summon a Pal that can tank damage and distract them on either the front or back side of the camp. Meanwhile, quickly rescue the Pal from the cage.
Base Establishment at Camp Locations
Enemy camps are located in flat areas, making them ideal places to establish a base. If you build your base where an enemy camp is located, neither the enemies nor the imprisoned Pal will respawn.
Mapping Camp Locations
You can mark the locations of the camps on your map since Pals will respawn, allowing you to obtain new Pals repeatedly.
All Enemy Camp Locations In Windswept Hills
Windswept Hills is the first area that concerns you in the game. This is because Zoe and Grizzbolt, the first tower Boss are located here. Additionally, since this area mostly contains low-level Pals, it won't pose much of a challenge for you.
