Even though you unlock it at Player Level 12, you have multiple steps to follow to craft it. After you make the Meat Cleaver, it's not clear how to use it on Pals. As you go through this guide, you'll learn everything you need to know about the Meat Cleaver and how to use it to help you.

How To Make A Meat Cleaver

Before you can create a Meat Cleaver, you need to build a Primitive Furnace and High Quality Workbench. Furnaces require 20 Wood, 50 Stone, and three Flame Organs while a High Quality Workbench requires 15 Ingots, 50 Wood, and ten Nails.

Made from a Furnace by using two Ore.

You can build the Furnace and High Quality Workbench by opening the Build menu, as shown in the bottom left corner. They're both under the Production tab, so select them and place them on the ground.

As for a Meat Cleaver, you'll need five Ingots, 20 Wood, and five Stone. Once you have the items, go to the High Quality Workbench, select the Meat Cleaver, and make it.

How To Use A Meat Cleaver

After equipping the Meat Cleaver, you need to put the Pal you want to butcher into your Party. You can do so by going to your Base, accessing the middle console, and opening the Pal Management menu to add them to the group.

Once they're in your party, you need to follow a few steps to butcher them.

• Press the Pal button to summon them.
• Press the Command Pal button, as shown in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
• Select the Butcher Pal command.

The Pal will be permanently removed from the game, and you'll gain some materials, such as meat or eggs.

You can't butcher Pals that are assigned to your base. You can butcher a Pal in your party while inside your base boundaries.
