There are five types of metal ore you'll be looking for and using in Palia: Copper, Silver, Iron, Gold, and Palium. You'll need them as gifts or requests, as characters like Najuma and Hodari prefer them. A lot of furniture needs metal bars, especially the higher tier sets like Industrial and Chic, and you'll need some for upgrading your tools.

One of the more hard to find ores is Silver Ore, and it's only found in one particular way. In this guide, we'll tell how you to find it and what's the best place to farm for this rarer ore.

What Is Silver Ore?

Silver Ore is an Uncommon material needed for several accomplishments and is a required item in the quest, The Backbone of the Community.

It can also be smelted down in a smelter to make Silver Bars, which are used in several furniture recipes such as the Ravenwood Mirror and Ranch House Mirror.

Silver Ore is unique in that it does not have an ore node of its own – it can only be found by mining Copper Ore nodes, oddly enough.

Where To Farm Silver Ore

In order to farm Silver Ore, you'll actually need to search for Copper Ore, but it can only drop from medium or large-size nodes.

Medium nodes have a fifteen percent chance to drop one Silver Ore, and large nodes have a twenty-five percent chance for one Silver Ore. Any place in Kilima that spawns Copper ore can be a spot to try and get a few pieces of Silver Ore, but the best place is the area between the Mayor's Estate, Fisherman's Lagoon, and Whispering Banks.

Along the walls of the Mayor's Estate, against the cliffs, and on the small hills around the Fisherman's Lagoon and Whispering Banks, both medium and large Copper Ore nodes spawn frequently.

You can easily start around the Mayor's Estate, go down towards the Lagoon, then wrap up around the Banks and return to the Estate in time for the nodes to start respawning, making it a convenient loop.

Due to the proximity to the Lagoon, Silver Ore farming can be combined with Clay and Crystal Lake Lotus farming, as you can alternate between mining or foraging the materials as they respawn.
