Our walkthrough of Thunder at San Romero High will also cover the locations of all the Golden Lollipop Wrappers as well as the SOS Students in distress, which you need for 100 percent completion and to unlock the best ending.

Thunder At San Romero High Walkthrough

Once you regain Juliet's control, you will learn to use Chainsaw Dash — unlocked at the end of the first stage. When used, it lets you jump over rainbow ramps.

Chainsaw Dash requires you to grab Fuel Canisters scattered in the area to use it indefinitely.

Continue past the ramps to defeat four zombies, including a footballer who is a little tougher than the others. Just be sure to dodge away when it glows to avoid unnecessary damage. Keep on using Chainsaw Dash until you see a blue barrel with a few zombies nearby. Whenever possible, destroy these barrels to temporarily stun zombies, allowing you to one-shot them.

A little ahead, you will need to kill two Album Zombies. Try to save the blue barrels in the area to make it easier to deal with them. Once you are done, grab the Golden Lollipop Wrapper before progressing forward. Keep going forward to come across the Chop2Shop terminal.

Buy anything you need and continue through the hallways to save your first SOS Student.

The zombies surrounding the student breathe fireballs, so try to get behind them to have an easier time.

As you are heading up the stairs, be sure to collect the Golden Lollipop Wrapper before dealing with a few Footballer Zombies. Again, dodge away when they glow blue and use your best combos to deal with them.

A little ahead, you will get trapped in a room with a few Crawling Zombies. Your best bet here is to use Low Slash. After clearing the area, attach Nick's head to the Headless Zombie to reach the upper floor where you will need to deal with four Firefighter Zombies. Since their fireballs can be annoying, you can use your Star Soul here if required.

Once you have dealt with them, jump out of the window to reach the rooftop. The entire next section is just Chainsaw Dash-ing through the rooftops until you do a big jump onto the basketball court.

Another Round Of Zombie Basketball

This is exactly the same as the previous stage, but you only need to get 60 points in two minutes. Just like before, you should try to deal with defenders first so that you have an easier time consistently getting three points. Dropkick is incredible for dealing with defenders. Alternatively, if you did not use your Star Soul before, now is a good time to use it.

How To Clear The Gym

Continue to Chainsaw Dash through the rooftops until you escape a collapsing building before landing in a gymnasium. You will need to defeat around a dozen zombies in the gym, including an Album Zombie. Use your best combos to deal with them, grab the Golden Lollipop Wrapper near the exit, before moving on.

Once you exit the gym, you will need to save three SOS Students. These students are surrounded by Cheerleader Zombies, which can easily dodge all of your attacks. This is why we recommend that you somehow stun them before finishing them off.

While not absolutely required, we recommend saving these students if you want to get the good ending.

After you are done, jump on the machine, do a small QTE, and Chainsaw Dash onto another rooftop to deal with three Footballer Zombies. After that, use the Headless Zombie to destroy the barrels, and Chainsaw Dash ahead — before you do that, however, be sure to collect the Golden Lollipop Wrapper hidden behind the ramp.

How To Unlock The Chainsaw Blaster

The next rooftops you land on will have lightning striking at random locations. We recommend not getting hit, since it does a lot of damage.

The second rooftop contains the final Golden Lollipop Wrapper of this stage — behind a fence.

If you have an interest in picking up all the Gold Medals and a Golden Lollipop, you should be able to Chainsaw Dash to the parachute containing your gift, i.e., the Chainsaw Blaster.

How To Play Zombie Baseball

Similar to Zombie Basketball, this one is pretty simple as well. To begin, you need to attach Nick's head to the Headless Zombie. Once that is done, you will need to use the newly acquired Chainsaw Blaster to defend Nick as he runs around the field — a total of three times.

Be mindful of Nick's HP. If it runs out, you will need to do the entire sequence again. Ammo is not an issue, so spray around to your heart's desire. You will have to deal with Cheerleaders, Batters, and Pitchers, but all of them should get one-shot with the Chainsaw Blaster.

Once you have successfully defended Nick for three runs, the game will conclude, and you will be able to push forward toward the final boss.

How To Defeat Vikke

Just like Zed, Vikke is a fairly simple boss. While he is nowhere near as agile as Zed, his attacks hurt a lot more. Moreover, he does not allow you to damage him head-on. You will need to strafe behind him (or sides) to be able to dish out any damage. The best advice that we have is to move around the area while dealing as much damage as possible.

Also, do not waste your Chainsaw Blaster during this phase, as you will need it later on. Once you have dealt enough damage, complete the QTE to begin the second phase.

During the second phase, he splits his body into two. If possible, try to focus on the upper body. However, do note that it can get a little tough to consistently hit it, since it is floating. Once again, do not use the Chainsaw Blaster during this phase.

If you let him throw you off the ship, you will need to do a small QTE to get back up and unlock the 'Cheerleader Overboard' trophy / achievement.

Feel free to tackle him head-on during this phase, since he does not counter any of your attacks anymore. Just like before, do enough damage to trigger a QTE and begin the third phase.

In the final phase, Vikke transforms himself into a gigantic head. This is the phase we asked you to save all your Chainsaw Blaster ammo for. If you see the head floating in the air, start shooting it with your Chainsaw Blaster until you see it land on the ship and ram all over the place. It can be a little tricky to dodge this attack, but he gets stun-locked for a few seconds after performing it, giving you ample time to do some damage.

On the other hand, if you see him charging his laser, continue to jump around the area until he is done. These lasers do a lot of damage, so try to move around as much as possible. If you managed to save Chainsaw Blaster ammo from the earlier phases, it should be over in no time.
