Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is full of surprises, and the newly introduced Sujimon Battle system is at the top of the list. As a Sujimon Trainer, Kasuga can level up, battle, and evolve Sujimon, much like you would in any other monster-themed RPG from the 1990s.

If you want to stand any chance of winning the Sujimon League, then you need to bring the strongest Sujimon at your disposal to conquer your rivals and defeat the Discreet Four. Everyone needs food to grow, and Sujimon are no different, as you'll need to feed them some delicious shakes (or battle with them) to increase their level and eventually evolve them.

How Do You Level Up Your Sujimon?

The first step to leveling up your Sujimon is gathering some Sujimunch materials (essentially protein powder) to blend into a shake for your Sujimon to drink.

You must visit a Suji Spot to blend your Sujimunch materials into a shake for your Sujimon.

There are fivetypes of Sujimunch you can blend into a shake. From least to most potent, the types are:

  1. Sujimunch
  2. Super Sujimunch
  3. Hyper Sujimunch
  4. Extreme Sujimunch
  5. Ultimate Sujimunch

You'll need to gather Sujimunch from SujiSpots, by winningbattles against other trainers, or by purchasing them at the SUJIGAMIPCshop to awaken and evolve Sujimon.

Each shake can include a blend of up to ten different packets of Sujimunch, or until the shake will level up your Sujimon to its current level cap.

Blending multiple different types of Sujimunch will also add a bonus chance for "Huge Gains" – up to 50 percent bonus experience – for blending one of each type of Sujimunch.

Each unique type of Sujimunch adds a ten percent chance of triggering "Huge Gains".

Leveling up your Sujimon using Sujimunchwillnot affect your friendship level.

The best way to level up your friendship with a Sujimon is through battling and winning together.

Before you lock in and select the "enhance" option, take note of the experience points it will provide, (listed below the shake) and your Sujimon's experience bar to the right.

Using regularSujimunch is best if your Sujimon doesn't need much experience to reach its level cap, and will cut down on wasted Sujimunch.

Once you finish blending your Sujimunch shake, a short cutscene will play where Kasuga tosses the drink and your Sujimon glows bright, completing the level-up process.

How Do You Awaken A Sujimon?

To Awaken a Sujimon, you will need awakening fodder – Committee Agents – to feed into your Sujimon of choice.

Each Sujimon will awaken to the next awakening tier (indicated by the three stars below the "S") once they are fed the appropriate amount of fodder, which will be consumed after the awakening.

You can Awaken a Sujimon regardless of their level, but pay attention to the color of their "S" as Sujimon of different ranks will require a different amount of awakening fodder to reach the next tier.

Once a Sujimon is fully awakened by awakening them three times, they can then be evolved.

Which Sujimon Can You Evolve?

WildSujimon and those snagged from Raids areeligible to be evolved once they have been fully awakened.

Sujimon will gain more powerful attacks once they are fully awakened, and evolving them will also change their appearance to reflect their growing power.

Sujimon that are alreadyPlatinum rank – and thus fully maxed out – cannot be evolved any further.

Evolution is just another term for describing the process of increasing the rarity tier of a Sujimon, so if they're already as rare as possible, then they are fully evolved.

Legendary Sujimon (and named characters included in the Ultimate Edition's DLC pack) will not be eligible for Evolution.

Don't worry, they're still incredibly strong.

Keep the following ranks in mind when determining if you want to invest in the necessary materials to fully evolve a Sujimon:

  1. Green: Rank One
  2. Bronze: Rank Two
  3. Silver: Rank Three
  4. Gold: Rank Four
  5. Platinum: Rank Five

These are the same tiers that Kasuga will level up through as a trainer while battling in the Sujimon League.

Once you've found a suitable Sujimon that meets the following criteria, you can evolve them, and battle to your heart's content:

  1. The Sujimon is notPlatinum rank.
  2. The Sujimon is not a legendary or a specialnamed character.
  3. The Sujimon is fullyawakened.

Becoming a Sujimon master is no easy task, but once you grow stronger with your team, there's nothing that can stop you from defeating the Discreet Four.
