PostsOnce you've spent the money and time crafting a well-rounded personality with access to several jobs, you can create your ultimate hybrid job using the Inheritance Skill system. Some of the best jobs for Kasuga rely on him first leveling up his Hero job to inherit select skills from it.
This list does not include Freelancer, Kasuga's least-impressive job.

Pyrodancer synergizes with Kasuga's Hero job but offers similar skills that raise your party's Defense, and attacks that increase in power at certain HP thresholds. As a standalone class, Pyrodancer is awkward due to its focus on hyper-offensive stats with average Skills.
Mask of Punishment – an electric Skill – is perhaps the best that the Pyrodancer class can offer, but the other fire-based options are lackluster. Tomizawa's Cabbie, and Kasuga's Hero jobs outshine Pyrodancer's main Skills, so there aren't many reasons to select it over them.

Chef is a versatile job centered on debuffing enemies and inflicting status ailments, with damage options limited by those caveats. If you aren't going to be in a long battle where strategy is essential, then Chef lacks the damage per turn (DPT) to finish fights on his own.
If you're leaning into a support-based Kasuga, the Chef job can help build a wonderful hybrid class via a selection of powerful options in Skill Inheritance. However, Chef won't shine without some excellent DPT-focused party members.

Aquanaut is the first job you'll encounter at Alo-Happy, and is one of Kasuga's best jobs for Magic – it heals and deals damage through electric and ice-based skills. Most of your attributes are average or better, and your Skills can blind, stun, or even paralyze your foes.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon and Infinite Wealth each redefined the long-running series, but which one reigns supreme?
PostsUnfortunately for Aquanaut, its glaring weakness is a fairly low HP cap, which can become problematic if Kasuga is targeted. This job requires a tank to draw attention away from Kasuga, and some support to cover its missing damage types.

Action Star is a great job for Kasuga if you want him to pull off some cinematic moves and deal damage via basic attacks. This job is Kasuga's equivalent to Kiryu's Dragon of Dojima in its focus on HP and Attack, but doesn't hit as hard.
Overall, while you'll do plenty of physical damage and apply your weapon attributes, Action Star leaves a lot to be desired in the creativity department. Considering what other classes can offer, Action Star is lacking in diversity.

Host offers plenty of potential as a Magic-based job, giving access to fire and ice-based Skills, and buffing options to increase the party's Magic damage. For pure spellcasters, this job has some excellent options for Skill Inheritance.
However, Hosts have a terrible weakness: survivability, which can make it extremely dangerous for Kasuga to deal damage without risking a KO from a stray physical attack.
Host is worth leveling up, but not worth selecting as your main job.

The Breaker Job is similar on paper to the Hero, but suffers from below-average attributes via two bars of Defense and Willpower. Breaker removes debuffs, recovers HP, and buffs your attributes, but doesn't offer many great Skills.
However, Breaker's incredible Agility makes it a solid choice for a base class if you decide to inherit Skills that offer more defensive versatility, as you'll be able to capitalize on having more moves than your foes in many cases.

The Linebacker job is only available via DLC, but is arguably the best job for Kasuga if you need a tank-focused build. Survival is always important, and the excellent combination of high HP, Agility, and Defense means that you'll be safe while boosting your attributes.
The Linebacker job's Skills focus on inflicting rage, so choose additional inherited Skills that give Kasuga access to other debuffs or utility options, as he becomes a dangerous wild card when set up as an offensive tank.

Desperado's variety of damage Skills makes it a versatile job for Kasuga, but again, these Skills might be even better when you use another job as your base. However, Essence of High Noon and Essence of Raging Bull are powerful options for instant KOs and silencing.

PostsIf you can use your other party members to protect Kasuga when he's a Desperado, he should excel as a classic damage-based gunslinger. Focus on his fire and ice-based attacks to burn enemies or inflict a cold – the options are great for many battle scenarios.

Samurai takes the cake for the best damage-based job for Kasuga, highlighted by its five Attack, four Defense, and powerful Blade Skills. You can inflict bleed, lower enemies' Attack, or boost your critical hit chance, all while dishing out damage.
If you're able to inflict bleeding, your attacks will be even more lethal when using Skills like Shadow Cleave. Due to its variety of synergistic Skills, Samurai is a great class to use, but it will benefit heavily from prudent inherited Skill choices and support-based teammates to help boost your Agility.

Sujimancer is one of the best jobs for Kasuga once you've made significant progress with your Sujimon adventure. Magic is the name of the game here, and several Skills allow Kasuga to inflict status ailments from sleep to poison while covering a variety of elemental types.
Five Magic combined with solid HP, Defense, and Agility help to keep Kasuga healthy, while your expanding Sujimon army will bolster the power of your Magic Skills. Inherit HP recovery and Defense-boosting Skills to build Kasuga as an incredible hybrid.
