PostsWhen it comes to fish, there are 28 in total to catch and several bodies of water to fish from. Here is a breakdown of every fish you can catch and where to find it on the island.
These locations are based on our own personal playthroughs, so fish may be found in additional areas.
How To Fish
Once you have the harpoon, you can fish in two different ways:
- Stand on a bridge or dock that has a fishing spot sign near it and start fishing. You'll then have to aim your harpoon at the shadows in the water, sometimes having to hit them more than once, to catch each one.
- Dive into the water where the fish are and dive down as they pass to try and catch them.
The latter option is far less reliable as you have to time things just right, however, it does mean you can fish from bodies of water before you are able to build the relevant bridge to reach the area properly.
Fishing Spots
Dondoko Beach
The most southern beach on the map. You can fish from the dock or by diving.
Mukku Beach
The western beach. You can fish from the dock or by diving.
Gachapin Beach/ The Lake
The eastern beach on the map. You can dive into the water, or eventually, when you build the bridge over to the Lake, you can fish from there.
Dondoko Farm
You can fish from the dock on the beach, or from the bridge near the waterfall.
The Cave
You can fish from the bridge once you are to build across to reach the Cave.
The Forest
You can fish from the bridge once you are able to build it to reach the Forest. You can also descend a ladder at the back of the area to go down and dive into the water and reach another fishing spot.
