When you talk to Safi in the Living World, you find out that someone vandalized her car by tossing a cow skull through the windshield. You must use Max's new powers to examine the skull in question and begin investigating who could've done this. Could this lead you to Safi's killer, or create more unanswered questions?

How To Examine The Cow Skull

The cow skull that found its way into Living World Safi's windshield is the one that used to hang above the stage at the Snapping Turtle. Since you can't get to that skull, you have to shift to Dead World to examine it.

Using the shift point by the bathrooms, travel to Dead World, then walk onto the stage. Look up at the skull and press the option to inspect.

After Max complains about being too short, she mentions something about seeing a stepladder somewhere. There's a stepladder by the Christmas tree in Living World, so shift back there and pick it up.

While you’re here, you can practice your eavesdropping skills on the kids outside. To eavesdrop without being noticed, go out on the patio in Dead World, then use Pulse. You learn that they are holding the bathroom key hostage for a prank. If you take the key from Dead World, and hang it on the hook in Living World, Timid Guy who sits by the tree can finally use the facilities.

Once you have the stepladder, shift back to Dead World, and go back to the skull. Max will use the stepladder to take it off the wall, allowing you to inspect it.

Rotate the skull until you see writing on the back of one of the horns. Press the prompt that comes up to find out that the signature on the skull is Lucas Colmenero, the head of the Lit department at Caledon.

After you finish investigating the skull, go back to Living World to ask Amanda about it.
