Double Exposure could mean one universe is the "Save Chloe" ending and the other is the "Save Arcadia Bay" one. Characters you thought had passed may be alive in one or the other. The options for cameos are endless. Here are some characters we want to see return in Double Exposure.

Spoilers for the Life is Strange Series below.

10 Chris Eriksen

Chris made his Life is Strange debut in The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit and is Daniel’s friend in Life is Strange 2. He is an imaginative child who loved comics, dealing with a complicated father and childhood.

In the new game, it’s possible we could see a more grown-up version of Chris cross paths with Max. While Chris doesn’t have powers, it would be a nice nod to fans of his character.

9 Steph Gingrich

Steph made her first appearance in Life is Strange: Before the Storm as a classmate of Chloe Price. She was eventually a main character and love interest for Alex in Life is Strange: True Colors. The confident drummer loves to DJ, play Dungeons and Dragons, and talk about pop culture.

She’s already been in two games, making it clear she’s a fan favorite. It would be interesting to see her interact with Max in the upcoming game.

8 Alex Chen

Alex Chen is the main character of Life is Strange: True Colors. She spent most of her childhood alone in foster care, making her shy but extremely empathetic and friendly. Her ability to feel and use emotions is unique.

Similar to Max, Alex is a bit awkward but creative and kind-hearted, growing as she moves through the game. Their personalities and experiences would mesh if they met in the future.

Alex can romance Steph, making it possible they’d both reappear as a couple.

7 Warren Graham

Warren is a character in the original Life is Strange and the prequel game, Before the Storm. He’s a nerdy, kind-hearted kid with a big crush on Max. Regardless if you choose to romance him, he’s friendly and protective, always willing to help.

While his fate could be up in the air depending on your choices in the first game, with parallel universes, there are various options for Max’s dynamic with Warren. It’s possible he could still be her best friend or romantic partner in Double Exposure.

6 Sean Diaz

Sean Diaz is the protagonist of Life is Strange 2. Always looking out for his little brother, he quickly takes on a lot of adult responsibilities while they run from the authorities. While their world is ripped apart, he stays steady and strong for Daniel.

Some of his endings were tragic, leaving fans feeling hollow. With two universes in the new game, it’s possible to see him again with various plotlines, even if it’s just a nod to his current whereabouts.

5 Daniel Diaz

Daniel is the little brother of Sean in Life is Strange 2. Starting out as an innocent child who encounters a tragic event with his father, he ends up on the run with his brother as his only guardian. His powers were dangerous, though at his core he just wanted his family.

Their arc ends in various ways but always shows a glimpse into the future for the brothers. It would be interesting to see more of adult Daniel in the new game.

4 Victoria Chase

Victoria is an antagonist in Life is Strange. She bullies Max and Kate, and is generally snobby. Throughout the game, however, she shows moments of vulnerability, revealing creative and passionate layers. She’s also wrapped up in the illegal activities in the first game, adding to her complexity.

In Life is Strange 2, a letter may appear revealing Victoria is now in therapy after what she endured in the first game. With her potentially healing into a better person, seeing her interact with Max as an adult would be intriguing.

If Chloe was sacrificed, Victoria's letter does not appear, but it can be presumed that she is in the same situation as the Sacrifice Arcadia Bay timeline.

3 Kate Marsh

One of the most devastating choices in Life is Strange involves Kate Marsh. She endures relentless trauma and bullying due to being drugged at a party, resulting in behavior that is mocked by her peers. As a sweet, religious girl, she’s extremely ashamed of her actions.

The bullying drives her to attempt to take her own life. Your actions decide whether she follows through or not. Due to the parallel timelines in Double Exposure, we may see Kate again, regardless of the outcome of the first game.

2 Rachel Amber

Rachel is a fan-favorite character in Life is Strange. While she isn’t present in the first game, her disappearance is a major plot point. More of her character is revealed in the prequel game, Before the Storm.

While she is charismatic and loved, she’s also terribly troubled and complex. Her and Chloe’s love runs deep, making her fate heartbreaking in many ways. While she’s dead in the current canon, she may be alive in the other universe Max finds in Double Exposure.

Although she does not make an appearance, Rachel is mentioned in flashbacks in the bonus chapter of Life is Strange: True Colors “Wavelengths”.

1 Chloe Price

Chloe is the character fans want to see again the most. The rebellious teen’s relationship with Max is a driving force in the original title. Facing serious mental health issues and a troubled home life, fans developed a big attachment to the complex punk rocker.

While her fate depends on your choices at the end of Life is Strange, fans are speculating she could still make an appearance in either universe. Max and Chloe are the characters we want to see interact the most after all these years.
