The world we are introduced to throughout the Lies of P is steeped in lore and secrets. While it takes inspiration from the traditional Pinocchio story, its interpretation is like no other, and this makes the city of Krat and the surrounding areas interesting to explore and learn about.

While you learn plenty about this world and its inhabitants throughout the main story, there are a few side stories that will give you extra information, as well as give P the opportunity to lie or tell the truth, an important feature for the game's narrative. So, which of the side quests are the best?

8 Weeping Lady

One of the earliest side quests you get the option to complete in Lies of P is from a weeping lady you can hear crying through a window during Chapter 2. When you talk to her, you find out she has been quarantined and is losing her sight to the petrification disease. She tasks P with finding her baby, which she thinks is in Krat City Hall.

When you reach the area, you find a broken baby puppet guarded by a strong enemy. You can choose to either tell the truth to the lady about the puppet, or lie and say it's a beautiful baby. You will get rewarded either way, but if you lie, you will get an extra record as well.

7 Venigni And Pulcinella

Venigni Works is one of the first areas in Lies of P that has a less linear structure, and working your way to the end can be quite tricky. When you finally get close to the end, you will find Venigni. He will task you with finding his butler puppet Pulicinella. This might seem like quite an undertaking due to how sprawling the level is, but finding Venigni's friend is simpler than it may seem.

The damaged puppet can actually be found in the boss area for the third boss in the game who is found near Venigni's location. So, once you have beaten the boss, returning Pulcinella is not too much of a challenge.

6 Cecile

Exploring the seemingly abandoned cathedral throughout Chapter 4 is a haunting experience, with plenty of notes and lore available describing what life used to be like in the stunning location before it was overwhelmed with monsters. This is why it is so surprising when you find Cecile who is hoping to find the last notes from the Archbishop who she used to work for.

If you manage to locate the notes, she is grateful, but you will not get your true reward until after defeating the boss of the area, being a monstrous transformation of the Archbishop himself. Then, you will find Cecile has left, and given P a note with a record attached.

5 Alidoro

An early warning P receives is that he should not tell just anyone about the haven that is Hotel Krat, for fear of the area being overwhelmed with untrustworthy factions. This is why the first interaction with Alidoro in the cathedral can stump you about what decision to make.

The eccentric figure is difficult to gauge on whether he can be trusted, so when he asks if you know of a safe area, lying can be a tempting option. Even if you lie, you get a second chance if you send him to Vegnini Works, and even then, he can still find his way to Hotel Krat, where luckily, he is a trustworthy ally.

4 Julian

Rosa Isabelle Street is one of the more dangerous areas in Lies of P with plenty of dangerous puppets roaming the streets. This is why it is surprising when you find Julian safe and hiding by a stargazer. He asks you to find his wife and collect her belongings as he mourns. Her body is not hard to find, and you can collect his wedding ring, but what is a shock is that she is a puppet.

You can choose to support Julian's romance with a lie, or tell the truth about the strangeness of the situation. If you lie, you will get to keep his ring, and unlock a gesture too. The wedding ring actually has a use since later in the game you can use it to support the love Polendina has for Lady Antonia.

3 Adelina

When exploring the Estella Opera House at the end of Chapter 6, it might be a surprise to find a survivor in an area so overrun with powerful enemies, however, this is where you will find Adelina, a former actress who is now suffering from the petrification disease.

You have the option to give her an apple to make her final moments more bearable, but, to get this item, you will need to buy it from Polendina in the Hotel, and only if you have expanded his stock. Make sure to do this before beating the boss in Chapter 6 since the quest will not be available after the King of Puppets has been defeated!

2 The Old Lady

At the start of Chapter 6, if you explore Rosa Isabelle Street thoroughly enough, you will come across an old lady in the window who will request that you find a bottle of her favourite wine that is found in Lorenzini Arcade.

Compared to previous side quests, this one will take a little longer to complete, since you will not be able to explore Lorenzini Arcade until Chapter 7. When exploring the basements, you will find a wine cellar not long after defeating a tough mini-boss. Upon returning the wine to the lady, she will give you a collector's coin that Pulcinella can appraise and give you half a moonstone.

1 Eugenie And Alidoro

One of the later side quests in the game gives more information about the relationship between Alidoro and Eugenie. After progressing past Chapter 7, you might want to retrun to Alidoro and receive a new weapon or amulet, but you will find him absent from his usual spot.

Upon talking to Eugenie, she will task you with giving gloves to Alidoro who is found throughout Chapter 8. You deliver the gloves, and Alidoro bemoans their quality. Upon returning to Eugenie, you learn that this was a heartfelt gift since she owes Alidoro for saving her previously, so you can choose to lie and tell her that he loved the gloves, or break her heard with the truth of his reaction.Next: Things Only Pro Players Know You Can Do In Lies Of P
