Nestled in the west Necluda region, Kakariko Village once again works as a stopping point during your adventures. There are plenty of side quests to do in the area, including one that involves settling a dispute between a pair of quarreling neighbors.
How To Start Codgers' Quarrel
To find and start this quest, you will first need to find Trissa in Kakariko Village.
She runs High Spirits Produce, which is essentially Kakariko’s grocery store. Unfortunately, you’ll see how little there is in stock when you first enter her store.
Talk to Trissa, and she’ll ask you to track down two individuals who have gone to fight monsters at one of the Ring Ruins around Kakariko Village. This will begin the quest.
How To Complete Codgers' Quarrel
In order to find the two men, you will need to make your way to the Nestled Ring Ruin, a little southwest of Kakariko Village.
Following the southwest path out of the village and then climbing the hillside will be the quickest path to reach the ruins.
If you have already accepted the “A Trip Through History” quest, you can knock out parts of each quest at the same time.
If you approach the ruins from the north, you will encounter the men Trissa wanted you to find, Steen and Olkin. Either listen to them argue about the best way to drive out the monsters, or just go straight ahead and fight the monsters yourself.
As you enter the ruins, you'll see three Bokoblins on the ground by a campfire and one Bokoblin archer up on top of the ruins.
There are also several Zonai devices on top of the ruins, such as Flame Emitter, which can be useful in your upcoming fight.
Once you eliminate all the Bokoblins, you can return to talk to Steen and Olkin. After finally resolving their differences, the two codgers will return to the village.
You can find two treasure chestsin the Nestled Ring Ruins. The first chest is by the campfire and contains five Giant Brightbloom Seeds. The second chest is hidden behind a destructible rock wall in the hall nearby and contains a Mighty Zonaite Sword.
When you return to Kakariko Village and talk to Trissa, she’ll thank you for your efforts. High Spirits Produce actually has stock again, so you'll have more options if you ever want to do a little grocery shopping here.
As a reward for helping her, Trissa will give you an Endura Carrot.
With the "Codgers' Quarrel" quest completed, Trissa has another conundrum for you to solve. Talk to her again to receive the “Follow the Cuckoos” quest that you can do next.
