How To Use The Illuminator
The Illuminator goes into your Charms/Equipment inventory slots. Not every slot can have a charm. Some only accept alternative tools such as a Glider or the Illuminator.
The Illuminator is not brighter than a torch, and the range of vision remains the same. It will not protect you from Cold, either.
Usually, you would have to carry a torch in one hand and your weapon in the other. You would have to keep switching between tools when adventuring and mining. With the Illuminator, you can have two free hands and more inventory space when exploring.
