Lego Fortnite combines creativity and survival, all with the fun of Legos. With the success of Lego Fortnite, more players flocked to the game to see what was new. However, no two players are the same. While some prefer hardcore challenges and the heat of combat, there are others who want to play in a peaceful setting with more allowance for mistakes.

It'll be difficult to survive Lego Fortnite without a home base. Here's how to get your home base up, running, and customized.
PostsThe answer to both play styles is the newly added Cozy and Expert modes. We'll break down what changes in each mode and how you can play with your friends while still doing everything you love, no matter what difficulty you play on together.
What Is Cozy Mode?
Sometimes, you don't want to see all your hard work smashed to smithereens, but you also don't want to live in a world without danger. The perfect answer to that is Cozy Mode!
In Cozy Mode, you'll meet Slumber, who will help you get comfortable in your new home.
Here, you can still prioritize survival, but without annoying things like hunger, temperature concerns, and powerful enemies. Instead, this mode in Lego Fortnite more closely resembles a sandbox setting (though there are still enemies around).
Any enemies you encounter will be set to easy difficulty, and you won't encounter Storm-Wild enemies. You also won't have to worry about friendly fire or losing your village animals upon elimination.
If you're eliminated, you'll respawn in your bed without dropping your inventory.
This mode is best if you want to practice building your Lego empire in Fortnite without the worry of it being destroyed immediately. Of course, if cozy vibes aren't your thing, there's always Expert Mode.
What Is Expert Mode?
Expert mode puts survival gamers to the test. Pushing each player to their limits, Exert Mode is unforgiving at best and merciless at worst. To start, there are now Storm-Wild enemies.
These are enemies, like wolves, that have been infected by a "storm" can be found with other uninfected creatures. Storm-Wild creatures are more powerful, have more health, and move faster than their normal counterparts.
Running away won't be easy. Instead, try climbing out of reach to take a breather while you strategize your next move.
Below is a list of all the new Storm-Wild enemies you can encounter:
- Storm-Wild Blaster
- Storm-Wild Bone Wolf
- Storm-Wild Brute
- Storm-Wild Frost Brute
- Storm-Wild Frost Roller
- Storm-Wild Frost Scorpion
- Storm-Wild Frost Wolf
- Storm-Wild Hermit Crab
- Storm-Wild Sand Brute
- Storm-Wild Sand Roller
- Storm-Wild Sand Scorpion
- Storm-Wild Sand Spider
- Storm-Wild Sand Wolf
- Storm-Wild Scorpion
- Storm-Wild Skeleton
- Storm-Wild Scoundrels
- Storm-Wild Spider
- Storm-Wild Stone Roller
- Storm-Wild Wild Wolf
In addition to the Storm-Wild enemies, there are harsher consequences for getting eliminated. In Expert Mode, you'll be permanently eliminated from the world if you run out of hearts.
You won't be able to join the same Expert world again, but you can still join non-Expert worlds or start a new one!
The benefit to Expert mode is unlocking trophies that prove your strength and bravery. By defeating Storm-Wild Brutes in the Grasslands, Dry Valley, and Frostlands villages, you will earn a corresponding trophy to display.
