Luma Island: What To Do With Tepid Offering Crystals

As you explore the island and town of Luma Island, you'll find yourself coming across a variety of ruins strewn all over your farm, even on the edge of town, and you'll want to visit them. Most of them are easily accessible, like the Ancient Farm Temple, but others are locked up tight.

If you want better tools, you need some Tool Tokens to spend on them.

One of these mysterious ruins sits on the edge of your farm's beach, and while breaking down the debris near it is easy, getting inside isn't – the door's shut, and it can't be broken. Something is missing, and it might just have to do with the strange, glowing crystals located on the island.

All Tepid Offering Crystal Locations

Tepid Offering Crystals are small, diamond-shaped crystals that glow and float in place, and of the eleven Tepid Offering Crystals you can find, seven of them are found at different locations around your farm, while the other four are found around town.

While there are eleven of them, you only need eight crystals to open the shrine on your farm.

You won't need to do anything special with them besides pick them up and put them into your inventory, and there's no limit to how many you can hold either.

How To Find It

Crystal 1

At your farm, head down to the beach, and then up towards where the river meets the sea. The Crystal is in the water, at the edge of the waterfall.

Crystal 2

At your farm, follow the dirt path southeast and around towards the center of the area. The Crystal is on top of a small mountain with a path curving around towards the top.

Crystal 3

At your farm, head south down the beach until you reach a section blocked by Farm Logs andBoulders, then go right up the hill, and follow the dirt path. The Crystal is on a nearby hill, surrounded by trees.

Crystal 4

At your farm, head to the far east side of the area, then head all the way north until you reach the circular lake near the top. Go along the right edge of it and up the hill to the Mushroom Man, and the Crystal is to the right of his shop, on a tiny hill.

Crystal 5

At your farm, head to the northern edge and hug the middle until you find a small area blocked off by several Farm Logs and Boulders. Break through them, and the Crystal is at the edge of the map, next to the cliffs.

Crystal 6

At your farm, head to the eastern edge, and keep to the dirt path until you find Talking Stone Gru at the edge of the woods. Navigate through the trees past him, moving towards the beach, and the Crystal is on the edge of the cliff overlooking some ruins.

Crystal 7

At your farm, head to the northwestern corner of the area, and go past the orange tree to the broken ladder on the cliffs. Use five Reeds and two Farm Wood to repair it, climb up, and the Crystal is on the cliff with you.

Crystal 8

In the town, head south past the Carpenter's Shop and through the two fences blocking a small area. As soon as you're through the second gate, take the stone path up to another gate. The Crystal is in a small area, next to the fountain.

Crystal 9

In the town, go over to the town hall past the bridge. Go to the left and then up the stairs to Enzo's restaurant. The Crystal is on the bridge, close to the single table and chair set.

Crystal 10

In the town, head to the southwestern edge and down to where the lighthouse is at the docks. Go down the stairs to the right of it, and the Crystal is on the grassy cliff nearby, next to a large rock.

Crystal 11

In the town, head to the western edge, past the town hall and fountain. Once you see the red-bricked road, take the stairs down to the docks, and follow the path around. The Crystal is in a corner, between a lifebuoy and a barrel.

Where To Use The Tepid Offering Crystals At

When you've collected all eight Tepid Offering Crystals, the place you'll need to go is on your farm. Head down to the eastern end of the beach and use your tools to breakdown the barrier of Farm Logs and Boulders leading to the shrine at the very edge of the area.

Upgrading your Axe and Pickaxe to at least level two or three will cut down the time needed to break through the barriers.

You'll find an even bigger barrier at the end you have to break, and past it is a set of ruins with nine statues in front of it. Walk up to each of the eight statues with an empty indent and insert one of the Tepid Offering Crystals into it.

Farm Shrine Rewards

As soon as the last statue has a crystal, you'll get a brief cutscene of the doors to the shrine opening, and then you'll be allowed to get the treasure inside.

• The Blue Treasure Chest contains normal treasure chest loot.
• The Purple Treasure Chest contains normal treasure chest loot and an item that sells for a lot of gold, like Farm Jewelry.
• The Gold Treasure Chest contains normal treasure chest loot and another Mysterious Egg, which can be used to hatch a second Luma.
