Luffy Gear Five Figure Headlines New Range Of One Piece Funko Pops

It feels weird to say the One Piece bandwagon is picking up speed when its manga and anime have been running for decades and are made up of more than 1,000 chapters. The debut of a live-action adaptation on Netflix, and the reveal that the anime will be getting a reboot on the same platform, has brought in waves of new fans, though. Knowing that, Funko has been releasing Pops for One Piece fans old and new, and four more figures were revealed this week.

Headlining the new line is a Luffy Gear Five figure which you can pre-order right now through the link in the box below. The most powerful form of Luffy One Piece fans have been introduced to so far, there's a chance the Pop! you but will be a limited edition glow-in-the-dark chase figure. There's no telling if the Pop! you buy will be a regular one or a GITD one until it arrives though, that's the fun of it.

Three more One Piece characters have been turned into Funko Pops this week alongside the new Luffy figure. Carrot, a major character whom fans of the live-action adaptation haven't been introduced to yet, has a new Pop!, as does the iconic One Piece villain Katakuri, someone else you'll only know if you've been a One Piece fan for longer than the last six months.

Luffy Gear Five, the most powerful version of Monkey D. Luffy introduced up until and including the Wano arc, has been transformed into a Funko Pop! Complete with a stretchy arm and a stand so make it look like Luffy isn't touching the floor. There's also a chance the Pop! you buy will be a GITD chase version.

Last but not least is a new Kaido figure. Almost twice the price of the other three Pops added to Funko's One Piece range, Kaido's new figure showcases his Man Beast form and is a super-sized Pop! Quite a bit bigger than the other three, and most other Pops, which makes sense considering the antagonist's stature when up against other characters in the series. Kaido's super-sized Pop! is $19.99 while the other three figures revealed this week can be pre-ordered for $11.99 each.

One Piece's Kaido is considerably larger than most other people he encounters in the anime, so it only makes sense that his Beast Form Pop! follows suit. That's why this figure is a super-sized one, measuring quite a bit taller than your garden variety Pops.

It had been a while since Funko added any One Piece characters to its growing range before 2023, at which point it released a line of new Wano arc-inspired Pops as well as a wanted poster Luffy figure that wound up being very popular. While the Funko love for One Piece continues, Invincible finally got in on the fun this week. Invincible, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve all have Funko Pops now, and the Think Mark moment from the season one finale has been turned into a figure too.
