Towards the end of the stage, you’ll also take on the Water Galboros miniboss, so make sure you’ve got your Copy Abilities ready. With all that in mind, you’re ready to dive in, collect all the Energy Spheres and complete this stage.

First Section

Grab the key ahead of you and head up the moving steps, avoiding the enemies that will try to attack you from above.

At the top, you’ll unlock the door. Go through the star door at the end of the path.

Second Section

Go down the ladder and jump over the spikes. You’ll land on a moving conveyor belt of sand, so make sure you don’t stay stationary for too long and end up falling in the spikes.

Destroy any enemies and blocks as you press on. At the end of the sand, jump on the next platform and take care to avoid the enemy circling the platform.

Jump onto the next sand conveyor belt and grab the stars off the ledges above. Mind the cannon at the end of the conveyor.

At the end, you’ll see a star door that’s currently inaccessible because of blocks. Use a Copy Ability to destroy them and enter it.

You’ll enter a room with an Energy Sphere below, but you’ll need to clear the blocks first. Interact with the star just up ahead to remove the blocks. They’ll appear again if you’re not quick enough, though.

Use a Copy Ability to hit the star from a distance, then jump down to reach the Energy Sphere.

Head back the way you came to return to the main stage.

Jump onto the next sand conveyor, then leap over the spiked enemy. Mind the spikes that can be found about halfway, and continue right to find the star door.

Third Section

You’ll find yourself in a dark room. Head down the ladder and pick up the candle. Continue through.

You’ll need to drop the candle to attack any enemies.

When you see a ledge, jump up onto it and follow it. Just before the end, there’s a piece of meat above you to grab if you’re low on HP.

Now, there’s a block with stars on either side, so grab them all and then walk along the top of it.

You’ll reach an area with spiked enemies that float up and down. Avoid these as you pass through. Jump up to the next level. Go to the left to grab a burger.

Destroy the blocks above you here to continue left and grab an Energy Sphere.

Destroy the big Waddle Dee and enter the star door.

Water Galboros Boss Fight

If you still have the candle, drop it. Head down the ladder to reach an area with blocks of lava. Kirby will get hurt if you touch these. Grab the stars, avoiding the cubes, and continue on.

You’ll have the choice between the Cutter and Beam Copy Abilities here. Choose which one you like, and head to the boss arena.

How To Defeat Water Galboros

Water Galboros will regularly jump, squishing you if it lands on you. It’ll also spew globs of water and waves that damage you, so avoid these when you can.

After a few hits, it’ll charge at you. Avoid this by jumping. If you get hit, you might drop your Copy Ability.

It will also start to spit water rapidly, so get a safe distance away when it does this.

Once it’s down, continue hitting it to receive the Water Copy Ability. You can use these to destroy the lava cubes.

Exit the boss room, and you’ll find lava cubes to destroy, revealing food and a Life-Up. After getting these, head through the star door.

Fourth Section

Head down the ladder and hit the bomb block. The path will clear and you’ll enter a room with huge balls of fire. Avoid these as you go through. There are a few enemies to destroy on the way as well.

Continue avoiding the fireballs, and you’ll see a gap in the floor where you can go. Destroy the blocks here to grab some stars. Go back up, and dodge the remaining fireballs and bat enemies.

You’ll see a clear rupee just ahead — pick this up, and Kirby becomes invisible. You can pass by enemies without them noticing you and use it to go through walls of the same colour. Use this to continue ahead.

The ability is time-limited, so make sure to be quick in this section.

Using the rupee, you can grab food and enter a star door on the right, passing through a wall made of the same material as the rupee. There’s an Energy Sphere here, and you need to use the rupee to pass through the wall and grab it.

Don’t worry if it runs out in here — you can exit on the left.

Back in the main stage, jump up two levels and continue on. Dodge the fireballs and grab the stars, then head into the star door at the end.

Fifth Section

Pick up the Sword Ability and cut the rope to grab the meat and stars. Cut the next two ropes to avoid the cannons, then head down the ladder.

Turn left, and a star portal will open up and an enemy will appear. Defeat it to gain the Ultra Sword Super Ability. Destroy the big piece of rope here to collect stars and a red star.

Continue on and destroy the next rope to clear the path. Head down the ladder and use your Super Ability again to destroy all the enemies and blockages here. Go into the room with totems, and destroy them with the Super Ability.

Go down the ladder and destroy the next rope to reveal a stamp ticket and a red star below. Continue left and follow the arrow down.

Destroy the ropes in this room, and a star portal you can go through will appear. Head in here.

You’re in for another section where you must outrun the wall, but this time it’s coming from the right. Head down where you can see the trail of stars and then turn left at the bottom. Swallow any blocks you see so you can remove the cannons and follow the path.

Make sure to have Kirby spit out anything he swallows before jumping, otherwise he’ll be too heavy to float.

When you see the bomb block, swallow the block just before it and expel it to set it off. Float up to the next area. Swallow the big block here and expel it to remove the big cannon.

Jump across the remaining platforms and head through the star door.

Sphere Doomer Boss Fight

Choose between the Cutter or Sword Ability and head to the boss room.

You’ll face the Sphere Doomer once again, but this time, some of the floor is made of blocks. If you hit these, they’ll break, leaving gaps in the floor that you can fall down. Try to avoid these if you can.

The Sphere Doomer is also a little more agile than when you fought it before, so be wary of when it charges across the screen at you. It shoots projectiles like before, which you’ll need to jump to avoid or rebound back at it.

Once you’ve beaten it, you’ll be able to grab the two Energy Spheres.

Grab the HP restoring item before you exit through the star portal on the right.

When you’re back in the stage, just drop down the ladder and enter the star door to finish the stage.
