For children and young people, only their parents are responsible for paying the bills. However, if you live alone or are an adult, you will be responsible for paying all the bills.

Paying bills doesn’t happen until Friday of every week, when you will get a notification on your smartphone from the Tax Department, stating all the bills you need to pay, including electricity, water, and property tax.

You can check this by opening your smartphone, going to Messages, and selecting the conversation from the Tax Department. There, you should find all the details, from the utility costs to the total amount you need to pay, including the deadline and even penalties for not paying.

However, if you don’t have enough money, you’ll need to figure out how to get it.

You usually have a two-day deadline, which gives you some extra time to gather the money. But if you don’t pay on time, you’ll receive a second text message from the department informing you that your bills are overdue, and you'll face penalties, such as services being restricted.

Don’t worry, you won’t get kicked out of your house, but if you still haven’t paid your bills, both electricity and water will stop working in your house. Your Zoi will feel Unpleasant and Uncomfortable, which will negatively affect them mentally, and we don't want that.
