PostsEspecially for beginners, figuring out which buildings to adapt and how to adapt buildings can be confusing. If you’re not careful, you might adapt an apartment or large house, causing you to lose time and resources. So here’s how to adapt buildings correctly in Infection Free Zone.
How To Adapt Buildings In Infection Free Zone
You can unlock buildings like shelters and research centers as you progress through the tutorial missions, but to build any of those structures, you need to follow these steps below to adapt a building properly:
- Select an abandoned building and send your squad to scavenge it. You cannot adapt a building that you haven’t scavenged.
- Right-click on the building you want to adapt and select the “Adapt” option (Hammer icon) at the bottom right of the building menu.
- Select which building you want to construct from the menu on the bottom left and click on the building you want to adapt.
- Your workers will start construction, and shortly after, the building should be adapted into the structure of your choice.
The resources required to adapt a building, and the structure’s storage capacity depend upon the building you select. For instance, an apartment would require more resources to adapt into a shelter and provide more housing space than a single house.
