Honkai Star Rail: Best Builds and Light Cones For Imaginary Trailblazer

When you think about a gacha game like Honkai: Star Rail where you can spend real money to get certain characters, you'd think that the best abilities are locked behind these limited characters. However, the developers consistently prove this wrong by releasing various phenomenal free-to-play friendly characters.

Want to enjoy some beautiful singing as you beat up your opponents in battle? Then Robin is the perfect unit for you.
PostsThe best example of this would be the Harmony Trailblazer, which is a completely free unit that every player can get through the main story. This unit isn't too difficult to build and gives you a lot more value than you'd expect.
Best Harmony Trailblazer Relics And Planar Ornaments
Finding good sets for the Harmony Trailblazer might've been difficult during the early stages of Honkai: Star Rail, but the game is already prepared for the unit on release during the Version 2.2 update. Here are some of the best bonuses you can get;
Type
Name
Reason For Synergy With Harmony Trailblazer
Relics
Watchmaker, Master Of Dream Machinations
Gives Trailblazer some extra Break Effect while increasing the entire party's Break Effect by another 30 percent upon using Ultimate. This stacks with the Break Effect you can get from the Ultimate itself.
Thief Of Shooting Meteor
Apart from increasing Trailblazer's Break Effect by 32 percent, this set also gives them extra Energy upon triggering Weakness Break. It's great if you're planning to trigger breaks with this unit.
Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
This is a more generic set that gives Trailblazer some SPD while also increasing the SPD of all allies after the Ultimate.
Planar Ornaments
Penacony, Land Of The Dreams
This is the BIS set for Harmony Trailblazer if you're planning to use them with another Imaginary DPS unit. It gives them some extra Energy Regeneration while also buffing the DPS in question.
Talia: Kingdom Of Banditry
In all other instances, you'd want to use this set on the Trailblazer and try to reach the high SPD threshold required for it.
Harmony Trailblazer Relic Stat Priority
Much like various other Harmony units, you wouldn't have a hard time building Harmony Trailblazer. However, it can be a little difficult if you get unlucky with a certain stat:
Type
Main Stat Priority
Sub Stat Priority
Head
HP
Break Effect > SPD > ATK Percent > HP/DEF Percent
Hands
ATK
Break Effect > SPD > ATK Percent > HP/DEF Percent
Body
HP/DEF Percent
Break Effect > SPD > ATK Percent > HP/DEF Percent
Feet
SPD
Break Effect > ATK Percent > HP/DEF Percent
Planar Sphere
HP/DEF Percent
Break Effect > SPD > ATK Percent > HP/DEF Percent
Link Rope
Break Effect
SPD > ATK Percent > HP/DEF Percent
HP or DEF Percent main stats are recommended wherever possible just to make the Trailblazer as tanky as possible.
However, if you want to look for some damage on their Skill or Basic Attack, you can go for ATK or Crit main stats as well.
Best Harmony Trailblazer Light Cones
- Past Self In Mirror
- Flowing Nightglow
- Memories Of The Past
- Planetary Rendezvous
- Dance! Dance! Dance!
- Carve The Moon, Weave The Clouds
Once you've reached the part in the story where you can acquire Harmony Trailblazer, you'll have more than enough Light Cone options for them. The main idea is to have as much Break Effect as you can, and then look for general buffs for your allies. Here's how each Light Cone on this list helps with that:
Past Self In Mirror
This is a limited five-star Light Cone, but if you have it, it can give you a whopping 60 percent Break effect at Superimposition One. Other than that, it also boosts your allies' DMG after the Ultimate and regenerates some Energy.
Flowing Nightglow
If you're building a pseudo-DPS build on the Trailblazer with ATK and Crit, you can use this Light Cone to gain some extra Energy and ATK while giving your allies the same DMG bonus as the above Cone.
Memories Of The Past
Going down to the four-star choices, Memories of the Past will be your best bet because of its massive Break Effect and extra Energy at Superimposition Five.
Planetary Rendezvous
Similar to the Penacony ornament set, if you're using Harmony Trailblazer with another Imaginary DPS, this Light Cone can be decent.
Dance! Dance! Dance!
This Cone advances your allies' actions after using the Ultimate, which is arguably the best effect on Trailblazer after the Break Effect.
Carve The Moon, Weave The Clouds
Finally, this Light Cone is quite generic and it can be used on any Harmony unit out there because of the various buffs it provides.
Harmony Trailblazer Trace Priority
Before deciding on your Relics and Light Cones, you'll have to decide where and how many resources you want to invest in Harmony Trailblazer. Being a support unit, you'd want to be as efficient as possible unless you enjoy their play style enough to maximize everything. However, Harmony main character's traces can be a little difficult to understand.
While their Basic Attack and Skill are straightforward, the Ultimate can be troubling. Essentially, once you activate your Ultimate, you deal extra damage to enemies that have their weakness broken. This damage is calculated based on the Break Effect of the attacking character and the Toughness Reducing DMG that the respective attack would do.
This also applies to AoE-based damage, which means that you can deal three instances of Super Break DMG if you attack three Weakness Broken enemies at the same time.
After knowing all this, it'd be easy to figure out that Trailblazer's Ultimate will be your first choice of upgrade. You can follow that up with the Talent and then upgrade the Skill a bit. You'll have to get a higher level on the Skill if you're planning to have the DPS build on them. However, you don't have to upgrade the Basic Attack at all.
