The world of Anthos is extensive, with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. You can collect resources, and harvest wisp fruit from the golden power wisps. Often times there are islands with a boulder, tree, or a golden wisp waiting for you. Some of these wisps though, seem unreachable.

Power wisps are important since the harvest wisp fruits they give you can be used to increase your inventory space, or stamina hearts. Harvest Moon: The Winds Of Anthos will test your stamina reserves. To progress, you'll want to find out how to get across the water for the wisps.

How To Get Across The Water

To progress through the story of Anthos, you're going to need plenty of harvest wisp fruits. Unfortunately, many of those power wisps seem to be isolated on islands.

While there is a way to get to those power wisps, the secret is patience. To reach some of the power wisps on islands, you'll need to wait for thecold winds during Winter.

During particularly bad weather in Winter, patches of the water will freezeover, allowing you to walk across and collect more harvest wisp fruits.

Some locations won't be frozen over, but you'll need to check at different seasons or times of day for a shallow area that looks as if there's a sandbar in the water.

If you catch it at the right time, you can walk acrossthe sandbar for some island locations.

Keep Track Of Power Wisp Locations

While you will find plenty of wisps in accessible places at first, it's highly unlikely that you'll remember every power wisp location you've encountered. There are quite a few islands to explore, each with the potential to house a power wisp.

You can simply take a screenshot if you think it's enough to remember the location, or you can use the in-game map pin feature. The map pin feature is helpful, but there is only one color.

You can use the in-game map pin feature to track anything important you want to find again later, but you won't have a way to categorize the pins. It will, of course, still reduce the amount of time it would take otherwise to find the islands and power wisps all over again.

Seasons In Anthos And Crossing Water

There are four seasons in Anthos, just like you might expect. There is also weather including blizzards, sandstorms, rain, and wind.

You might think that once Winter comes, you'll pop over to all the islands and check for power wisps. It's a great idea to check, but there are different biomes in Anthos.

The biome variety means that if the harvest goddess tells you bad weather is coming, it's only for the area where your house is located. You might visit a different area and find clear, sunny skies.

What this means for crossing the water, is that you'll have to periodically check islands in the different biomes. Try different seasons and times of day to take advantage of shallow water or frozen walkways. You'll be able to visit plenty of power wisps to increase your stamina levels.
