Ahriman is a tough boss in Ghostrunner 2, thanks to his mobility. Here's the full rundown.
PostsIn reality, the Architect doesn't exist; it's Avatar, one of the holograms you first saw during the battle against Ahriman. Avatar gave the rest of the crew permission to kill, so it has superb hacking skills. With them, Avatar takes you to its world, the Cybervoid, and you must track and defeat it to escape.
What Are The Avatar Attacks?
As you enter the Cybervoid, you'll go through a couple of zones where you'll see clones of Avatarthrowing Shurikenat you at a high-speed rate. When you advance, you'll finally make it to an arena where you'll see many of these copies of Avatar, and all of them are throwing Shuriken at you. That's their only attack. They'll also run away if you get near them.
As you clean that stage, you'll see that Avatar's HP bar only decreased to a quarter. This is because you'll appear in a new stage with fewer Avatar clones, but they are nearer to you, so their Shuriken will be harder to avoid.
As you get rid of them again, four Avatar's clones will spawn in the air, and the portals will disappear. These are a bit harder to reach as the only portal you can use is in the void.
Defeating these last clones will take you to where the real Avatar is. Its name is Rahu, and to defeat it, you'll go through several Parkour stages, which are straightforward because the game will guide you through where you must go. The hardest part of the battle in the Cybervoid is against Avatar's clones.
What Is The Best Avatar Strategy?
When you reach the stage with the clones, never stay in the same place. There are portals on the stage thatcan take you to the opposite side of the room, and you can also dash and jump to move through platforms.
Never stay on the same platform because the clones will keep throwing Shuriken at you with no mercy, and it'll be impossible to avoid them.
How To Kill The Clones
There are two ways of killing the clones; the easiest is throwing a Shuriken to stun them and using the Grappling Gun to slash them. You can also slash them without the Shuriken, but the problem is that if you get near them, then they'll run away.
You can't spam your Shuriken because they have a cooldown time, so you must be precise. If you don't want to miss a Shuriken, then jump, use the Sensory Boost, throw the Shuriken, and grab the target with the Grappling Gun.
You'll eventually be roaming through the stage because you ran out of Shuriken; to avoid getting killed, you can hide in between portals, but be sure the portal you are using to hide isn't in a platform where a clone is because you'll get Shuriken'd by a clone.
You must jump and run to distract the clones while you get more Shuriken.
For the second phase, you must stick to the same strategy; never stay in the same place, use the Sensory Boost while throwing Shuriken to never miss, and use the portals to take the clones by surprise.
How To Kill The Flying Clones
Lastly, when there are only four clones left, and all the portals disappear, you can jump to the void; it'll take you to the top of the stage, and if you don't land on a platform, you'll be falling constantly.
Here, you can kill the clones in two ways; by catching them or by throwing Shuriken with the Sensory Boost. To catch them, you must drop yourself and dash towards the clones at the exact moment when you are in front of them.
As you win, you'll get face-to-face with Rahu, and you must go through some Parkour stages to complete the level.
