Chenyu Vale in Genshin Impact is home to a variety of puzzles and open-world challenges, one of which is Miasmas. These Miasmas corrupt the parts of Chenyu Vale, make the humans who come close to it ill, and make the monsters surrounding it more powerful and vicious.

PostsMiasmas are scattered throughout Chenyu Vale. There are seven in Total, and destroying each one will reward you with a Precious or Luxurious chest. Miasmas mostly involve combat challenges spanning multiple waves. These challenges can be hard for new players and hard enough for veteran players to have fun.
Miasma Locations In Genshin Impact
Mismas can be found in the wilderness in Genshin Impact, and some of the will be completed as you progress through the world quests, such as Chenyu's Blessing.
To destroy a Misma, simply head towards the purple-coloured tree and attack the monster with a mark on its head. After defeating the monsters, use your Adeptal energy powers when prompted to destroy the tree.
Upon starting a fight with the marked monster, a combat challenge will start, which usually involves three waves, with the final wave having an elite monster.
Don't forget to purify the area with adeptal energy, as the monster waves will never end if you dont purify the Miasma with Adeptal energy.
Miasma Location One
Start off by heading to the teleport waypoint in Mount Lingmeng and go towards the marked spot. Upon arriving, you will notice a purple tree with striking purple grass around it and a Hydro slime with a marker on top of it.
The challenge can be triggered by starting a fight with the Hydro Slime. The challenge initially consists of fighting multiple Hydro and Cyro slimes, which can come off as quite a challenge.
If you are a new player, it's recommended to take an Anemo character who can group the enemies for this fight.
The final wave will consist of a high-HP Geovishap. Don't get carried away defeating the monsters; when prompted, make sure to purify the Miasma with Adeptal energy as soon as possible.
Miasma Location Two
Yaodie Valley's Miasma is also a part of the sub-quests deriving from Chenyu's blessing, and it can be completed without being involved in the quest if you wish to do so.
Yadoie Valley Miasma consists of waves of Hilichurl monsters. Generally, there won't be much difficulty. The final elite boss monster is an Anemo Hilichurl Rogue who has a HP buff, but they are also a relatively easy opponent.
Miasma Location Three
The third Miasma locations in towards the Southeast of Chizhang Wall and offers players a more difficult challenge.
This Miasma's combat challenge consists of a huge number of Hilichurls, two Rogue Hilichurls and a Stonehide Lawachurl as the final monster.
For new players who may have difficulty with combat challenges, you can try to bring freezing team compositions and characters that can output Geo damage to make this fight easier.

PostsMiasma Location Four
The fourth Miasma location is towards the west of Chizhang Wall and inside a cave. The Miasma here is also a part of a quest but can be completed early without any problems.
The combat challenge you will face here will mostly consist of Hilichurls and a Hydro Samachurl as the final elite monster. This challenge could be called one of the easiest Miasma challenges in Chenyu Vale.
Miasma Location Five
The fifth Miasma challenge, which takes place on Mt. Xuanlian, stands out from the rest of the challenges because completing it rewards you with a Luxurious chest instead of the usual precious chests.
The combat challenge for destroying the Miasma in this region is also a real challenge. There will be lots of Hilichurls, Mitachurls and finally, a Frostarm Lawachurl as the final elite monster.
It is recommended to take Pyro characters to this fight to quickly kill the Frostarm Lawachurl and beware of the surrounding water bodies to avoid getting frozen by Frostarm Lawachurl's attacks.
Miasma Location Six
The sixth Miasma location is close to the Statue of Seven in Chizhang Wall. The combat challenge to destroy the Miasma here consists mostly of defeating slimes of a variety of elements, which shouldn't be any problem for most players.
The final elite monster is a Xuanwen Beast, a monster unique to Chenyu Vale with high HP and powerful attacks. Since you will only have to face one of these monsters, the challenge can be completed without any difficulties.

PostsMiasma Location Seven
The Seventh Miasma location can only be unlocked after progressing through the Chenyu's blessing quest line, and is completed as an exclusive part of the quest. The monsters you will have to fight here will be Hilichurls and Mitachurls.
How To Get Break The Benighting Achievement
"Break The Benighting" is an achievement rewarded for players who purify all Miasma locations in Chenyu Vale. It's recommended that players complete the purifying of Miasmas in Chenyu Vale after completing the Chenyu's blessing quest line.
