Pokemon's Elusive Gengar Squishmallow Is Half Price At Walmart

Summary
- Walmart has Pokemon Squishmallows available for half price, on sale for just $15.
- Not just any Squishmallows, but the Gengar and Pikachu ones, the former being one of the harder from the Pokemon collection to find.
- The Squishmallows on sale are the ten-inch versions, so the smallest size Pokemon's Squishmallows come in.
Pokemon has been gradually adding to its Squishmallows collection two plushes at a time, and Dragonite and Marill will be the next Pokemon to get the Squishmallow treatment as they have now been confirmed to release this summer. While it seems to have a handle on the stock/demand balance now, Pokemon didn't anticipate just how popular its Squishmallows would be to begin with. That's why the original four are still hard to find, but two of them are not only back in stock at Walmart, but they're half price.
Gengar, in particular, is a very hard Squishmallow to track down. As someone living in the UK who isn't helped by this Walmart restock, I can confirm finding Squishmallow Gengar in the real world is infinitely harder than finding the in-game version in any of the Pokemon titles I've played over the last two decades. Walmart has the ten-inch version of Gengar's Squishmallow in stock now, if you're fast, and its price has been cut from $29.99 to $14.97.
Gengar Squishmallow Plush

Gengar already looked a lot like a Squishmallow in its design, so it translates perfectly. Bring home your local friendly ghost with this Squishmallow.

Pikachu isn't quite as sought after as Gengar since even though there are only eight Pokemon Squishmallows, Pikachu already has two - one where it's winking, and one where it's not. This is the latter, and since it was a part of that initial wave of Pokemon Squishmallows, it's a lot harder to find in stock than the winking version which was released after Pokemon realized how many people are desperate to own plushes from this collection.

Pikachu Squishmallow Plush
$15 $30 Save $15 Dimensions 10"The iconic mascot of the Pokemon series of course had to be made into a Squishmallow. Pikachu's round, adorable design was just meant to be meant to be transformed into a cuddly, huggable Squishmallow, mimicking the Pokemon's original design that everyone knows and loves.
$15 at Walmart Expand CollapseAs always, there's no way of knowing how many of these Squishmallows Walmart has in stock, nor how long they will be on sale. Even if it's had truckloads delivered, it seems likely that at $15, these Squishmallows aren't going to be around for long. It's also worth noting the different Squishmallow sizes. Ten inches is the smallest variant Pokemon's Squishmallows come in. The slightly bigger 12-inch Squishmallows are Pokemon Center exclusives, and there are also 14 and 20-inch variants out there.
If you're new to Pokemon's Squishmallow collection, or you're trying to catch 'em all before the new ones land this summer, Teddiursa is also available for less. Amazon has cut the price of the squishy teddy bear Pokemon to $19, and although the newer plush isn't nearly as hard to find as its Gengar equivalent, there aren't many occasions where it'll be on sale. Now is the best time to hop on the Pokemon Squishmallow bandwagon if you do want them all as before you know it, there will be more than you can catch up with.
