You Can Buy Astro's DualSense At GameStop Right Now If You're A Pro Member

Summary
- GameStop has the Astro Bot DualSense controller back in stock for the PS5 exclusive's release day.
- The catch is that you need to be a GameStop Pro member to place your order.
- The controller might be restocked elsewhere today and over the weekend, but that's not guaranteed.
Astro Bot release day is finally here, and all signs point to the new PlayStation mascot's first full outing seriously living up to the hype. The reviews have been so positive that it is currently sitting on a 95 at OpenCritic, and I'm yet to hear a single negative thing about it. The only downside for some of you is that if you were too late to PlayStation Direct last month, you might not have an Astro Bot DualSense to play it on. That might be about to change as at least one retailer has the controller back in stock.
I've been keeping an eye on most major retailers throughout the day, especially after Walmart restocked the controllers earlier this week, and finally, I come bearing good news. GameStop has the Astro Bot DualSense back in stock, but unfortunately there's a catch. The reason it will almost certainly still be available once I've written and published this article is because you have to be a GameStop Pro member to place an order.

PostsIf you've come here because you're already a GameStop Pro member then good news - you can click on the link in the box below and place an order for the Astro controller. If you're not, while it's going to cost you, there are more benefits than just being able to buy the controller, and let's be honest, considering how much the DualSense is being sold for by scalpers, the $25 per year it costs to be a GameStop Pro member is probably worth it for the controller alone.
Astro Bot's DualSense Is In Stock, But There's A Catch
via PlayStationIf you buy games, accessories, and whatever else from GameStop and you're not already a Pro member, you might have noticed a price under the one you pay that's slightly lower. That's the price for Pro members and while it's only usually a couple of dollars less than the regular one, if you're buying multiple games per year through GameStop, you'll likely earn back the $25 you pay for your membership. You also get a $5 reward for signing up, a monthly $5 Pro reward, and $5 on your Pro account every time your subscription auto-renews.

$80 at GameStop for Pro Members Expand CollapseAs for the Astro DualSense, while it's possible, perhaps even likely, it will be restocked elsewhere today and throughout Astro Bot's launch weekend, it's not guaranteed and will almost certainly sell out right away if and when it does. It's a great controller released alongside a fantastic game, and once it's gone, it will likely be gone for good outside of paying through the nose for it secondhand.
