Gundam Breaker 4 lets you build your own custom mobile suit using parts from over 250 Gunpla kits from across various Gundam series. With so much freedom to customize your build, it can be overwhelming at times, especially once you unlock Synthesis and can essentially make any part viable.

Here are some tips to get you started in Gundam Breaker 4.
PostsLuckily, with a little guidance, this wealth of choice actually becomes the selling point of the game, and you can spend hours just tinkering with different parts and colors. That said, there are a few parts that come from Gunpla kits in the shop that are perfect for beginners, which we'll take a look at below.
6 Serpent Custom
The Serpent Custom from Endless Waltz provides parts with the Double Gattling Gun OP Skill, which is a great option not only for beginners but also players far into the game. This Skill is available on both the left and right Serpent Custom arms, as well as separately as attachable Builder Parts, all of which you'll get when you buy it from the shop.
With both Gatling Guns equipped, you'll be able to use Double Gatling Gun, which deals high damage in a short burst and has a very high hit count, making it great for building the combo gauge or keeping Awakening active for longer. Plus, the Serpent Custom appears in the shop early on, making it very accessible.
5 Kshatriya
The Kshatriya from Gundam Unicorn has several useful EX and OP Skills on both its left and right arms, including the Mega Particle Cannon and Funnels EX Skills. Funnels aren't the most effective, though they can get some extra hits in every once in a while, but the Mega Particle Cannon is a lot of fun to use, deals some decent damage, and has a good hit count as well.
However, to use the Mega Particle Cannon, you'll need to equip both of Kshatriya's arms, which can slightly limit your customizability. Alternatively, you can equip just one Khastriya arm and utilize its I-Field OP Skill that reduces damage taken from beam attacks while active, which can be very helpful against bosses like the II Neo Zeong.
4 Force Impulse Gundam
The Force Impulse Gundam from Gundam SEED Destiny has two powerful early-game EX Skills that function similarly to one another. In fact, both of these Skills, Vajra Beam Saber and Folding Razor, have the same attack animation and deal roughly the same damage, but come from different parts of the Force Impulse Gundam.

PostsVajra Beam Saber is tied to the Force Impulse's backpack, whereas Folding Razor comes from its legs. This gives you a bit of wiggle room when deciding on other pieces of your build, as both Skills are essentially interchangeable. Still, they are strong options for dealing burst damage, and they only cost one EX Gauge, making them quite affordable.
3 Gundam Gusion Rebake
With the Gundam Gusion Rebake kit from Iron-Blooded Orphans comes the Halberd Builder Part, which provides the OP Skill of the same name. This skill isn't very flashy, but it does provide an important function, which is that it lowers the enemy's defense for a short duration. Combined with the Halberd's short cooldown, and you can continuously keep the defense debuff active on a single target.
Additionally, like other OP Skills that use melee weapons, you can repeatedly press the input for the Halberd to get multiple swings out, or hold down the buttons to throw the Halberd instead, performing a ranged attack. Because the Halberd is attached to a Builder Part, you have a lot more freedom for the rest of your build, allowing you to keep this skill regardless of the rest of your parts.
2 Gundam Exia
Gundam Exia, the main mobile suit of Gundam 00, has several strong EX and OP Skills tied to its parts. The first is the GN Beam Dagger EX Skill from Exia's legs, which performs a long combo that deals decent damage and only costs one EX Gauge. Additionally, the GN Long Blade/GN Short Blade EX Skill performs a similar combo, although without as many hits as the GN Beam Dagger Skill.
Through Exia's backpack, you have access to Trans-Am, which greatly increases your movement and attack speed for a while. This EX Skill costs three EX Gauge, but it lasts for a while and provides a very strong buff, so it's definitely worth using. In addition to several strong OP Skills like GN Beam Saber and Shield Combo, Gundam Exia is a very strong early game kit to grab first.
1 Gundam GP02A Physalis
The Gundam GP02A, aka the Physalis, from Stardust Memory, has one of the strongest EX Skills in the game—the Atomic Bazooka. This Skill comes from the Physalis's Radiator Shield, and costs three EX Gauges to use. However, this attack does massive damage, obliterating enemies in a large area with its explosion.
You can buy the GP02A relatively early on in the game, allowing you to use the Radiator Shield and its Atomic Bazooka for a long while. If you upgrade your other parts with the right abilities, you can power up the Atomic Bazooka's explosion even more, allowing you to breeze through even the hardest bosses.
