The game even has a simple quest that can reward you with 25,000 XP just for trying this out on an opponent. Considering you're acquainted with Fortnite's sprinting and sliding mechanics, slide-kicking will feel just like combining these... except, your opponent is going to take damage and honestly question your gameplay tactics.

Where To Safely Find Players

Before you even begin showing off your acrobatic skills in battle, it's essential to take note of where to head. For this quest, we highly recommend landing into a hot drop and doing it early.

This way, you can quietly tail another player as they land, making sure you're right next to them. The moment you land, the opponent will either try running from you or towards you. The strongest player survives, after all!

However, this is the time for some aggressive gameplay and you're going to run towards this player, even without any weapons equipped.

Landing early-game ensures that opponents around you don't have weapons equipped. This makes the quest much simpler.

How To Slide-Kick

Have an enemy in your eyes? Awesome! Now it's time to sprint towards them and slide. Sliding is the same as crouching mid-sprint, and upon successfully doing so, you'll be knocking the opponent off while also dealing some damage.

This will feel quite similar to sliding across vehicles (or any surfaces, for that matter). Gaining momentum first by sprinting and then sliding will give you a better chance at pulling this off.

Even if you don't make it the first time, there's nothing much to lose! Simply load into another match and try this out.
