Sorry Gamers, You Will No Longer Be Able To Goon In Fortnite

Unlike, say, Marvel Rivals and potentially even Street Fighter, there aren't a wealth of provocative costumes in Fortnite. Sure, there are collaborations with personalities or IPs that may be provocative on their own, like Sabrina Carpenter, but you won't see Epic Games selling a skin featuring The Punisher wearing a skull-themed speedo and nothing more.
And so, players with naughtiness on their mind often resort to combos of emotes to, well, be naughty, of course. Except, there's just one problem — if you can call it one — it's no longer possible to combine certain emotes to create something dirty.
You Need Some Serious Time On Your Hands To Think Of These
As first spotted by PC Gamer, via a Fortnite content creator, it's now virtually impossible to combine certain emotes to create a "dirty" version in-game. More specifically, "gooning has been vaulted."
Separately, over on Reddit, one gamer shared a video of what it looks like when you try and combine emotes moving forward. Simply put, nothing happens.
Because before that, people were doing all sorts of things that looked a whole lot like this, and, well, that's not PG or becoming of a game that has an ESRB rating of T, with no such mention of "Suggestive Themes" or anything of that sort.
Of course, it's only a specific subset of emotes that don't work with each other, and it's likely that the community has found several other combinations that will continue to exist. "The community will always find creative ways to do mischievous things with emotes," one gamer wrote in response.
"Epic is just gonna have to play whack a mole and try to patch all the naughty shenanigans."
Yup, sounds about right.
