Each season of Fortnite provides a story to follow with the characters in-game, and Chapter 5 Season 4 is no different. The Fortnite x Marvel story quests partner you with Jones and Hope to help find the whereabouts of Doctor Doom.

PostsStory quests start with just one, with the remainder unlocking in stages as you complete them, rather than listing them all at once like other quest-lines do. Additionally, a new chapter of quests will drop each week with new tasks for you to complete as you travel over Fortnite island.

Found Quests
The story quests for the current season begin with the Found Quests, also called Gwenpool's Quests. Gwenpool is locked in a prison cell just outside the Raft. But how these quests relate to the rest of the Doctor Doom story remains to be seen.
The Found Quest is technically only one quest, but it comes in three separate parts that need to be completed in three different matches.
Match 1
Gwenpool has purposely gotten herself imprisoned at the Raft to gather intel, but now she needs your help. Just outside the Raft, near the southeastern corner, is Gwenpool's prison cell. Judging from the location, it used to be next to Emma Frost's room but broke off when it crashed onto Fortnite Island.
Talk to Gwenpool through the door and she will ask you to get one of the prison guards' ID chips and bring it to her. This isn't an item you have to pick up, you'll just automatically have it when you eliminate a guard.
Once you've done that, go back to Gwenpool and give her the ID Chip.
Match 2
Head back and talk to Gwenpool again from the prison cell door. She will give you a flash drive and ask you to hack into The Raft's mainframe and copy some information onto the drive.
The easiest way to find the computer you need to use is to go around the east side of the prison and enter the bottom of the tower in the northeastern corner.
Interact with the computer then input the correct passphrase: CYNTHIA. Once the operation is complete, return the flash drive to Gwenpool.
Match 3
CloseTalk to Gwenpool again and this time, she wants you to steal some electronic parts from the Raft.
There are three of them you need to find, and when you leave the prison cell they should show up on the map and be highlighted on your HUD as well.
The three places you'll find them are:
- Upper left corner of the prison.
- Bottom left corner of the prison, under a broken section of wall.
- Directly south inside a broken prison tower.
Once you've collected all three, return to Gwenpool one last time.
When you've successfully completed Gwenpool's quests you'll earn a level up, which will grant you five more battle stars for the Battle Pass.
Part 1 - Are We Doomed?
The rest of the story quests follow the search for Doctor Doom, who stole the powers of Pandora's Box and then vanished.
In part one, you'll be sent all over the map looking for any kind of evidence that may point the way to where he's hiding.

Stage 1: Deal Damage to opponents at Castle Doom, Doomstadt, or The Raft.
The best way to complete this quest is to go into one of the three POIs and defeat the henchman that are scattered around the location. You'll need to deal a total of 500 damage on opponents to complete this quest.

Stage 2: Investigate the Redline Rig for evidence.
At the south side of Redline Rig, right next to the remains of Pandora's box, is the helmet from Doctor Doom's armor. Pick it up.

Stage 3: Bring Doom's helmet to Hope.
Hope is stationed at Sandy Steppes. Grab a vehicle and drive over there, then give Hope the helmet.

Stage 4: Eliminate opponents from over 30 meters.
Eliminate three opponents from over 30 meters away. A great way to accomplish this is to get the Hover Jets and Arsenal, and rain down damage from above.

Stage 5: Find Doom's Logs at the memorial statue and the Fractured Four.
This time you need to visit two different locations. The memorial statue is located directly east of Rebel's Roost, while the Fractured Four is just southwest of Doomstadt. At each location will be a recording you need to listen to, recorded by Doctor Doom.

Stage 6: Collect a control chip by hitting a headshot on Doom's henchmen.
Get a headshot on any of Doom's henchmen and eliminate them at either The Raft, Doomstadt, or Castle Doom. When you do this, they'll drop a control chip for you to pick up to complete the quest.

Part 2 - Heroes Assemble
The search for Doctor Doom continues in Part 2 of the story quests, Heroes Assemble. Captain Jones and the Oracle will send you all over the map looting Doctor Doom chests, searching dig sites, and more, to find out what Doctor Doom is up to and what he's up to.

Stage 1: Loot a Doctor Doom Chest.
Doctor Doom Chests can be found at any of the new POIs, or at other locations around the island. They are long rectangular boxes that glow with a golden light, and have the Doom symbol on the top.

Stage 2: Collect a Shipping Manifest by eliminating Henchmen at Dig Sites.
Go to any of the eight dig sites on the island and eliminate all the henchmen. Once you defeat the last one, it'll drop the Shipping Manifest. Pick it up to complete the quest.
You'll find the dig sites at the following locations:
- North of The Underworld
- Northeast of Rebel's Roost
- Train station south of Grim Gate
- Southeast of Doomstadt
- Northeast of Grand Glacier
- Northeast of Nitrodome
- Halfway between Grand Glacier and Mount Olympus
- North of Brawler's Battleground

Stage 3: Collect Epic or better items from eliminated players.
Collect five Epic, Legendary, or Mythic weapons from eliminated players to complete this quest. It can be any eliminated player, not just ones you've eliminated.

Stage 4: Report to War Machine.
War Machine is located at the train station near Doom's Courtyard. Go talk to him to complete this quest.

Stage 5: Deal damage to opponents while hovering with the War Machine's Hover Jets.
You can get War Machine's Hover Jets out of rare chests, Doom or Avenger Chests, or picked up from dropped players. Once you have it, attack opponents while hovering and deal a total of 300 damage.

Stage 6: Eliminate opponents with War Machine's Arsenal.
War Machine's Arsenal is a mythic item you can find primarily in Doom Chests, Avenger Chests, or Rare Chests. You might also be able to get one by eliminating enemy players. Once you have it, use it to eliminate five opponents (including Henchmen and NPCs).

Stage 7: Talk to Captain Jones about the next steps.
Head over to the Ship It! Station (northwest of Nitrodome) and talk to Captain Jones about what to do next.

Part 3 - Shuri's Invention
Shuri, also known as the Black Panther, has arrived on Fortnite Island to aid in the search for Doctor Doom. She's created an invention that might help narrow down his whereabouts, but she needs your help putting it together andthen testing it in the field to see if it works.
As with the previous quests, the first few stages will be super easy, while the middle ones may be more difficult to complete. Also, there is an optional quest that can earn you a few extra experience points.

Stage 1: Complete SHADOW Briefings.
There are three different types of SHADOW briefings currently in the game: Supply Drop, Armory, and Plunder. You must accept and complete the conditions of two SHADOW Briefings to complete this quest. You can find them by the laptop icon on the mini map when you're in an area that has a SHADOW briefing.

Stage 2: Hold 3 different Epic or better items at one time.
You can find Epic or better items either by searching chests, Rare Chests, Doom or Avenger Chests, or by purchasing from NPCs. All you need to do is hold three items that are of Epic or better quality at one time.

Stage 3: Deliver parts to Shuri.
Completing the first two stages gets you the parts that Shuri needs for her "Rift Recalibrator", and now it's time to deliver the parts. Head over to Shuri's location east of the Nitrodome and speak with her to give her the parts.

Stage 4: Attach Rift Recalibrators on Rift Beacons.
Shuri will give you three Rift Recalibrators and needs you to attach them to Rift Beacons around the island. There are five beacons located on the northeastern corner of the island, all around Castle Doom. Attach the Rift Recalibrators to three of these beacons.

Stage 5: Defeat Doombot.
Now that Shuri's invention has been successful, it's time to defeat Doctor Doom's Doombot. It's located in Castle Doom and can be difficult to beat, especially with other enemy players all trying to do the same thing, so make sure you have full shields and some excellent weapons before going into battle.

Stage 6: Retreat and talk to Hope.
After defeating Doombot, go find Heroic Hope at Sandy Steppes and talk to her about Shuri's Rift Recalibrators.

Optional: Eliminate any Doctor Doom on the island.
After stage five, an optional quest will come up that you can complete before doing stage six. For this optional quest, eliminate five enemy players wearing the Doctor Doom skin.
