Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 adds Weapon Cases and Weapon Bunkers to the game, making it easier to find your preferred weapon of choice. These cases work like chests, but aren't as randomized or luck-based, thankfully. Rather, you'll know exactly what you're getting.

In addition to that, Weapon Bunkers also let you modify your weapons, giving you the opportunity to customize your loadout as per your play style. Thankfully, Weapon Cases are spread across the map, and you can simply drop in, pick up your favorite guns, and start dominating the Fortnite island.

Weapon Cases And Weapon Bunker Locations

Close

Weapon Cases, as the name suggests, look like briefcases that are all yours for the taking. Feels too good to be true, doesn't it? Well, it can be a little tricky to pick up loot from these, as a lot of the Weapon Cases are in or around hot spots.

While some Weapon Cases are freely scattered across the map, many are locked inside of Weapon Bunkers. Keeping that in mind, you'll want to head to the quieter parts of the map. These are usually places around Sandy Steppes, Rebel's Roost and Slumberyard.

Once you locate a Weapon Case, you'll see a prompt that allows you to interact with it. In doing so, you'll notice the weapon's name, so you're aware of what you're picking up.

How To Use Weapon Bunkers And Mod Benches

Weapon Bunkers are automatically marked on the map when you land into the island. However, these only open once the zone starts closing in.

If you're playing solo, be careful when entering Weapon Bunkers that are already open. Opponents often use them as hiding spots.

With your skills (and luck), if you do manage to step into one of these bunkers, pick your favorite weapons from the Weapon Cases, like you would usually do. But this time, modify them!

Mod benches in the game offer a variety of options for you to customize your weapon. From scopes to barrel mods, you can choose from a variety of attachments that improve your weapon.
