King Midas has returned to Fortnite Island in Fortnite: Chapter 5, Season 2. He brings with him all kinds of gilded fun for players to have, including the Rise Of Midas Quests. With these quests you can earn not just XP, but also other rewards including the Cerberus Medallion Spray, Rose of Avarice Back Bling, and Queen In Gold Glider.

The Rise Of Midas Quests are available to complete until April 2nd. If you're having trouble navigating the quests and need some guidance on what to do and where you need to go, don't worry, we're here to help!

How To Complete The Rise Of Midas Quests

Midas, who was imprisoned by Hades, has broken out and is on the rise again. But how did he get out, and what does he have planned for the Olympians?

The Rise of Midas quests are here to help you learn what happened, and on the way you get to earn valuable XP and some pretty nifty rewards.

Some of the Rise Of Midas Quests can be completed on the Marigold Yacht, which is anchored in the ocean to the east of Grim Gate. Others can be done anywhere else on the map.

The quests come in multiple parts:

• Midas Rises
• Et Tu, Brutus?
• Jules Vs. The Golden Touch
• Myths Of Midas
• The Great Marigold Yacht Heist

Midas Rises Quests

There are three quests to complete under the Midas Rises section. The first one comes in three stages.

Stage 1 of 3

Collect 200 Gold Bars.

Stage 2 of 3

Investigate Midas' Jail Cell, located below Hades' Throne Room.

Stage 3 of 3

Corroborate with Marigold on Midas' Escape. You can talk to her through the Scrying Pools.

When you talk to Marigold, she will ask you questions about Midas' escape. Here are the answers to those questions:

• How did he escape? - A guard unshackled one of his hands.
• Then what happened? - He used his free hand to turn the other shackle gold!
• What was the final step to his escape? - He shoved open the cell door.

The remaining two quests you need to complete are:

Damage players with Chains of Hades or a Harbinger SMG for 750 damage.

Hit an Olympian Boss (Zeus, Ares, Hades, or Cerberus) with Chains of Hades.

Et Tu, Brutus? Quests

Midas suspects his buddy Brutus to be a traitor, and has tasked you with investigating him.

Hire Specialists in different matches.

In three different matches, hire one of the recruitable NPCs located around the map.

Purchase from Midas Vending Machines or Service Stations.

Purchase an item or weapon upgrade three times from a Midas Vending Machine or Service Station to complete this quest. This needs to be done in three separate matches.

Scan the Marigold for recording devices.

Visit the Marigold Yacht and head inside to the lower deck. You'll see a sparkly transparent shape in the middle of the hallway. Activate the scanner to complete the quest.

When you've completed the above quests, a new one will pop up, telling you to confront Brutus. You can do this by using one of the Scrying Pools to contact him.

Jules Vs. The Golden Touch

The first quest in this list comes in three stages. They are:

Deal 300 damage to opponents while under the effects of The River Styx.

Hit structures at Grim Gate to collect a Jar of Essence.

Deliver the Jar of Essence to Jules.

Damage players with Midas' Drum Gun or Drum Guns

You can purchase a Drum Gun from Shade Midas or find one on the map anywhere. Deal 750 damage to enemy players with a Drum Gun to complete this quest.

Place top 50 players without consuming healing items.

Finish the game in the top 50 without having consumed any healing items. This includes food items and bandages.

Eliminate an opponent within 10 seconds of collecting bars.

This one is pretty straightforward. Simply collect any amount of bars before eliminating any opponent, including NPCs and bosses.

Consume a Banana of the Gods.

Find a Banana of the Gods anywhere on the map and consume it to fill up your health over time.

The Great Marigold Yacht Heist

Blow up a fuel pump.

Visit any of the gas stations on the map and blow up the fuel pump there.

Catch a Golden Chicken.

When you find a glowing golden chicken, you only need to catch it to complete the quest.

Honk a car horn within 10 meters of an enemy player.

Get in a car and when you're near an enemy player (within 10 meters), honk the horn.

Travel distance while flying with Wings of Icarus.

Travel 1,000 meters using Wings of Icarus.

Complete a Train Heist or claim the floating island Capture Point.

Either ride the train and claim the loot there, or claim the Capture Point on the floating island.
