With the introduction of the Greek gods to Fortnite in Chapter Five, Season Two, we are once again finding ourselves at the center of the island's story as a new prophecy unfolds. The new narratives starts with the Oracle's Snapshot quest, a 14-part mission to help you understand the island's new visitors.

From the beginning to the end, you'll traverse across the island and train your abilities as you prepare to fight the new godly visitors. All the while you're completing missions, Oracle's Snapshot will reward you with a lot of experience and help you get a new look at some of the new locations.

Oracle's Snapshot Quest List

It seems that Fortnite's island is once again under threat of being attacked by another deity, and you are being tasked with making the gods notice your presence. The fourteen stages of this quest will likely take several matches to complete.

Accept the trial and then run through all the rings before time runs out.

Accept the challenge and then destroy 15 structures in the allotted time.

Beat the Test of WIsdom at a Scrying Pool

Go to one of the Scrying Pools and answer the question correctly.

Five

Send Hades a message by eliminating 10 opponents.

Land in major POIs and listen for active fights you can swoop in on.

Six

Speak to Hades through a Scrying Pool.

Go back to a Scrying Pool to speak to Hades.

Seven

Collect a Gatekeeper Shotgun and then visit Grim Gate.

Gatekeeper Shotguns are part of the standard loot pool and can be found as chest, floor, and supply drop loot.

Eight

Damage Cerberus for 150 points to assert your dominance.

Summon Cerberus by toppling his statue and defeating his minions until he spawns.

Nine

Defeat a character in a duel or beat a god.

Finish Cerberus off after the 150 damage or challenge another character.

Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Ares.

Go back to the Scrying Pool again to commune with Ares.

Collect a Warforged Assault Rifle, then go to Pantheon Path.

The Warforged Assault Rifle is standard loot and Pantheon Path is west of Mount Olympus.

Damage Ares for 150 points.

Defeat Ares' minions at Brawler's Battleground until he's summoned, then shoot him for 150 damage.

Assist in collecting Aspects of the Gods.

Defeat Ares or another god and pick up their medallion.

14

Go to the Scrying Pool.

Go to one of the four Scrying Pools for the final time in this quest.

Throughout the fourteen sections, you will hear unique voice lines for this story from the Oracle and test out some of the new weapons that the Greek Pantheon has brought to the island.

Stage One - Scrying Pool

There are four different Scrying Pools across Fortnite's island, but you'll only need to visit one to complete the first section of the quest. Once you find a Scrying Pool, walk up to it and press the prompted button to activate it. This will complete the first stage of the quest after a brief telling of your prophecy.

Remember where these are located since you'll be returning to the Scrying Pools multiple times throughout the sections.

The different Scrying Pool locations include:

  • West of The Underworld.
  • Northwest of Reckless Railways.
  • Southwest of Pleasant Piazza.
  • The southeast section of Mount Olympus.

Once the prophecy is finished being told, you'll be directed to the next stage.

Stage Two - Test Of Agility

For the second stage of the Oracle's Snapshot, you'll need to run through several holographic rings before the time runs out. Run through each ring that's closest to you, connecting all the way until you reach the finish line under a string of lights. You'll need to hurdle, climb, and jump across the POI if you hope to complete the objective in time.

If you aren't successful, you have the option to go back to the starting point in the northernmost structure at Restored Reels and restart the trial again.

Stage Three - Test Of Strength

To complete the next objective, you'll need to either go to the marker at Fencing Fields or Lavish Lair and activate the stopwatch like before. Once the challenge has been started, you'll need to destroy 15 structures within the time limit.

You can either do this the slow way with your pickaxe or quickly with items like the Thunderbolt of Zeus.

Stage Four - Test of Wisdom

You'll need to go to another Scrying Pool at one of the four previously mentioned locations and speak to the Oracle. Once you answer the question correctly, with no penalty for wrong answers, you'llfinally be deemed worthy and told the intent of the gods on the island.

This is the last timed test from the gods in Oracle's Snapshot, with the rest being standard quests that you are likely to be more familiar with.

Stage Seven - Gatekeeper Shotgun

The Gatekeeper Shotgun is the new blue shotgun that has a triangle reticle when equipped. It can be found as the standard floor, chest, and supply drop loot, so your best chance of finding one quickly would be to go to a POI with a lot of loot spawns.

The Underworld might be a good place to look given its large size and proximity to Grim Gate once you do find a Gatekeeper Shotgun.

After finding one, you just need to travel to Grim Gate to complete the objective.

Stage Eight - Damage Cerberus

Since you'll only need to damage Cerberus for 150, all you need to do is defeat enough of his minions to fill the meter at the top of the screen. Once he spawns, shoot him until you get the notification that you've completed that section of the quest.

If you can kill Cerberus after damaging him for 150 points, you will finish Stage Nine's objective quickly.

Even if you're not battling Cerberus until he's eliminated, it's still wise to go prepared with multiple weapons, plenty of ammo, and full shields to make sure you can complete the quest.

Stage 11 - Pantheon Pass

The Warforged Assault Rifle is one of the more common weapons this season and can be found in standard loot locations, similar to the Gatekeeper Shotgun.

When you do find the specified weapon, you should head to the path to Mount Olympus on its west side. You'll notice a large statue of Ares with its sword to the sky, which is how you know you're in the right place.

Stage 12 - Damage Ares

As you did with Cerberus, you'll simply need to topple the Ares statue and then defeat the minions until the meter at the top of the screen is filled. Once it is, Ares will spawn and you can do 150 damage to him.

Make sure that you're equipped with shields and plenty of ammo before challenging Ares and his minions.

Stage 13 - Aspect Of The Gods

If you defeat Ares in that battle and pick up his Aspect of the Gods medallion, then you'll automatically complete Stage 13. If you're unable to pick up his Aspect of the Gods, then you'll need to defeat him or another god to pick one up.
