How To Unlock Every Five Nights At Freddy's Mini-Games In Every Game

Other than for creating a questionable amount of dead children stories, Five Nights at Freddy's is probably most well known for its confusing and twisted lore, something that even the most dedicated theorists struggle to untangle. The problem is that most of the important story beats are hidden, out of chronological order, as subtext or hints buried deep inside mini-games, most of which are also... very, very hidden.

This is only a jumping-off point, however, as a full guide to completing each of the multiple endings that are attached to these mini-games is beyond the scope of today's conversation.

FNAF 2 Demands A High Price (And Some Patience) To Hear The Lore
Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is the entry where Scott Cawthon first embraced mini-games as the ideal way to sprinkle important information without really giving it to the player. Four separate mini-games may only be accessed through in-game death... and even then, it's not a guarantee.
It's a random chance encounter, so one of the four mini-games may trigger after the jumpscare hits, or maybe not.
Here are the names of all the mini-games in FNAF 2 that may be accessed in this manner.
- SAVETHEM
- Take Cake to the Children
- Give Gifts, Give Life
- Foxy, Go! Go! Go!
FNAF 3 Wants You To Click On Everything. Literally.
In lieu of random chance, Five Nights at Freddy's 3 rewards the curious clickers. Six mini-games may only be accessed through clicking on specific items on certain nights while looking through specific security cameras. Here's how to reach each of them.
- BB's Air Adventure - On any night, the player may use Cam 08 to double-click on a drawing of Balloon Boy on the left wall to trigger the mini-game.
- Happiest Day - On any night, the player may use Cam 03 to double-click on a drawing of The Puppet on the right wall to trigger the mini-game.
- Mangle's Quest - On night 2, the player may use Cam 07 to input a code by clicking on the buttons on the left side of an arcade machine to trigger the mini-game. The code goes as follows: Top-Left, Bottom-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Right.
- Chica's Party - On night 3, the player may use Cam 02, 03, 04, and 06 to click on all four shadowy cupcakes to trigger the mini-game.
- Stage01 - On night 4, the player may use nine clickable wall tiles in the office like the input screen for a cellphone. After mentally overlaying the numbers, type in 3, 9, 5, 2, 4, 8 to trigger the mini-game.
- Glitch Minigame - On night 5, the player may double-click on a nearly hidden figurine of Shadow Bonnie on the right side of the office desk to trigger the mini-game.

Let's dive deep into one of FNAF's core elements: the springlock suits. You'll learn more about how these costumes operate.
PostsFNAF 4 Practically Hands Out The Mini-Games For Free
Scott Cawthon must have been feeling generous because the primary mini-game in Five Nights at Freddy's 4 is triggered by completing each night. On nights 1 through 4, the player has the opportunity to play "Fun With Plushtrap." In the Halloween update, there's an alternate version of the mini-game known as "Fun With Balloon Boy," but it plays the same.
This particular mini-game is the only 3D mini-game and is the only mini-game to affect the main campaign. Success allows the player to skip a few hours of the next night, while failure means the campaign progresses as normal.
FNAF: Sister Location Mixes and Matches From The Previous Titles
Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location offers a brief mixture of what's been seen before in terms of finding the mini-games. Like FNAF 2, The Circus Baby Minigamerequires in-game death as a prerequisite to its random chance triggering. It's speculated that it will take approximately five or so deaths for the average player to stumble across it.
There is also an unnamed, slow-burn mini-game that triggers at the end of each successfully completed night that showcases a significant portion of the back story of the FNAF series.
FNAF: Pizzeria Simulator Says It's All About The Money
Ready for a quick break? Booting up Five Nights at Freddy's: Pizzeria Simulator will instantly trigger... a Pizzeria Simulator mini-game. That's literally it for this one. The player is treated to a brief, playable prologue that sets the tone for the chaos that's to come.
Once inside the primary campaign, there are two kinds of mini-games, but they're all acquired in the same style: buying stuff. Here are the important things to get from the catalog:
- Midnight Motorist - Purchasing the Midnight Motorist Arcade cabinet for $170 and then interacting with it will trigger the mini-game.
- Fruity Maze - Purchasing the Fruity Maze Arcade cabinet for $150 and then interacting with it will trigger the mini-game.
- Security Puppet's Mini-Game - Purchasing the Security Puppet for $12,500 and then interacting with it will trigger the mini-game.
There is a secondary, lesser (lore-wise) tier of mini-games known as Play Testing that may be obtained and accessed by purchasing items like the Ball Pit. Also, although not technically a mini-game, the player should absolutely purchase and interact with Candy Cadet ($310) if money is readily available.

PostsFNAF World Takes It Back Old School
There is a single, hidden mini-game in Scott Cawthon's RPG spinoff title, FNAF World. To access Chica's Magic Rainbow, a bizarre little platformer reminiscent of Cuphead, the player must first have the Halloween Update Backstage area.
If that's in place, there's a path hidden behind false trees on the back left side of Nightmare Balloon Boy's house. If the player follows that path, they'll encounter a portal (a pulsing, white circle on the ground that looks like a Kingdom Hearts save point), that will trigger the mini-game.
FNAF: Help Wanted Imitates Nintendo With Surprising Exclusivity For Mobile Port
Perhaps to entice players into getting the Mobile Port for FNAF: Help Wanted, Scott Cawthon added a hidden mini-game unique to the mobile variant. Princess Quest, a beautifully rendered RPG-styled mini-game, can be accessed by locating glitching items that appear at the Prize Counter and focusing the camera on them.
The glitches appear as a flashing, white mesh grid that overlays the item. If done correctly, the screen will fade to black as it transitions to the mini-game. Afterward, the mini-game is accessible by interacting with the small monitor on the far right side of the main table.
