Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is still many months away from release, but one of the bigger topics surrounding the game since its reveal is whether the game will have any additional DLC once the main story is over. Final Fantasy 7 has had plenty of spinoffs that the current games haven't explored, such as Dirge of Cerberus and the follow-up movie Advent Children.

Revelation will undoubtedly tie bits of those spinoffs into the main game, just as it already has with Crisis Core, but it does have the opportunity to remake them into something more ambitious. In fact, director Naoki Hamaguchi has already said that spin-off DLC could happen if there's enough demand for it.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation DLC And Story Expansion Pass May Have Leaked

And, at the very least, it does appear that Square Enix is preparing for that eventuality. Spotted by a Reddit user called Cursed_69420 and shared with the Gaming Leaks subreddit, it appears as though several items referencing DLC for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation have been added to the Epic Games Database.

Among these items, we can see that there are multiple references to DLC that run from 1 to 9, which is most likely referencing Final Fantasy 7's nine playable characters. Of course, that drops to 8 with the death of Aerith, which might explain why DLC 2 is currently missing, but if I was to put my tinfoil hat on, it does kind of imply that Aerith or Zack may be playable at some point in Revelation.

More interestingly though, an item was also added called "Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Story Expansion Pass" which implies that story DLC will be added in the future, which will possibly be those spinoff remakes that Hamaguchi said may happen. It could also be something completely new, just like how Integrade introduced Yuffie, so we don't know for sure.

There's also the possibility that some of these could be placeholders, what with Final Fantasy 7 Revelation still half a year away from release, so it's best not to get your hopes too high just yet.
