Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Dustbowl Swinding Seminar Guide

During Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's eighth chapter, the main story will send Cloud and friends (sans Barret) to the Dustbowl - or 'Corel Prison', to use its more classically-trained title. To bust out of here, you'll need to win a chocobo race at the Gold Saucer. And to do that, you'll need to perk Piko up with Sylkis Greens.

PostsOne of the several available Sylkis Greens comes by way of Caglio, a professional swindler who happens to be holding a seminar. To win a green, you've got to pick the disciple who's telling the truth. As you've likely deduced, we're here to tell you how.
How To Begin The Swindling Seminar Quest
The swindling seminar doesn't happen in FF7 Rebirth's wider world as one of its myriad optional activities. It's tied to the main story, and it occurs while Cloud's team is being held captive at the Dustbowl in Chapter 8.
Your trusty Grasslands chocobo, Piko, needs Sylkis Greens if she is to perform remotely well in the upcoming race. Caglio, a Dustbowl NPC, will give you a Sylkis Green so long as you play into his hand. You must pay Caglio 500 gil to begin this short quest.
Caglio can be found close to the entrance leading to the underground monster arena. He's pretty hard to miss, though - he's the guy instructing five students on the art of swindling.
Who Is Telling The Truth At The Swindling Seminar?
So! Here's the thing. The developers decided it would be far more fun to shake things up with a roll of the dice on who's telling the truth throughout everyone's playthroughs.
There are only so many deviations, however, so it's still possible to provide a reasonably helpful guide article. Thank goodness for you - and for us, right?
The following table contains all known permutations of each student's claim as well as the ways in which you can deduce who the truth-teller turns out to be on your current file.
