In Final Fantasy 16, side quests are not only the best way to learn more about the intricacies of the world of Valisthea, but they're also great for giving yourself a palpable power-up in the form of raw resources, rare accessories, and plenty of ability points.

Like the other explorable regions in the game, Sanbreque - the first of the explorable regions you'll come across - has plenty of side quests for you to complete. Whether they deal with the small village of Lostwing or the town of Northreach, we've got the quests detailed below.

Speak to three NPCs around Lostwing, including a Herbmother, who will trigger the next part of this quest. When prompted, head to Laubert's Pass and defeat the Black Shields there. After defeating them, return to Lostwing and talk to Quinten.

Head to the vineyard to the west of Lostwing and speak to the bearers there. Then, go to Heavenhall, which is directly south of the Dragon's Aery Obelisk through a narrow path, and defeat the Minas there. After the cutscenes, defeat the Akashic in Lostwing. Then, find and speak to Quinten.
