The Hideaway is a very important place in Final Fantasy 16. You can consider it your base, your safe haven - you'll never have to fight monsters here, it's where you can reliably upgrade your equipment and restock your items, and it's where you'll find your allies to talk to.

Of course, you'll also find plenty of side quests to take on here! The Hideaway features more side quests than any other area in the game, and they will send you all over the world to complete them. The tables below detail these quests and when you can unlock them, but beware of spoilers if you scroll down too much!

- In Rosaria, you'll find an encounter at Shallop Rock against a Woken Bug and a Woken Guardian.
- In Sabreque, there's an encounter to the southwest of Claireview against Woken Bugs and Woken Nodes.
- In Dhalmekia, there's an encounter in the Krozjit Echoes against Woken Hunters and a Bomb Errant.
Make sure you pick up the Spherical Echoes after all three encounters, and return them to Owain to complete the quest.

After this, climb the stairs in the middle of the passageway and speak to Dorys. Return to the entrance and use the key to explore the east passage until you find a survivor. After this, slay the Kuza Beast.
