Final Fantasy 14's Futures Rewritten Ultimate Has Been Cleared

Update 29/11: GRIND has since admitted that one of its team members was using the Pixel Perfect plugin. This makes team Kindred the first to clear Futures Rewritten Ultimate legitimately. Our original report follows.
Summary
- Final Fantasy 14's Futures Rewritten Ultimate has been cleared by a Japanese non-stream team called GRIND.
- This clear took place at 3:26 AM GMT on November 29, as members of the team uploaded screenshots to Twitter.
- Unfortunately, it seems as though we'll be going through add-on controversy again as well, as GRIND is now suspected of using Pixel Perfect.
Final Fantasy 14 has a bunch of challenging content to tackle, whether it be the trickier stuff like Savage Arcadion Raids, or the more casual content out there like Jueno: The First Walk, the first raid in the Echoes of Vana'diel Alliance Raid series. However, the hardest stuff you'll come across are Ultimate Raids, the most recent of which is Futures Rewritten, which was added in Patch 7.11 a few days ago.
Like with every Ultimate Raid in Final Fantasy 14, the truly brave out there gathered in their statics to try and become the first team in the world to clear it. While not for everyone, it's an exciting time for Final Fantasy 14's more raid-focused community, and these fights usually take days for people to figure out and complete. It's tense, exciting, full of strategy talk, and Futures Rewritten is proving to be no exception.
Final Fantasy 14 Futures Rewritten Ultimate World First Race Is Over
Just like every other Ultimate that has become before it though, Futures Rewritten has been cleared. It was a pretty tense race with a bunch of teams competing, but it was ultimately a Japanese team called GRIND that had managed to be the world's first, having beaten the raid in three days and logging their clear at 3:26am GMT. While the race was streamed by various different teams, GRIND completed the raid off stream.

I've never been able to get into Final Fantasy 14, but starting fresh with everyone else in Mobile might just swing me.
PostsUnfortunately, just like with other raids in the past, it seems as though this clear isn't without controversy. Following GRIND's clear of Futures Rewritten, a red dot was spotted on one of the clear screenshots posted to Twitter, which seems to suggest that a plugin called Pixel Perfect was used, which helps players gauge their distance from enemies. This screenshot has since been deleted from Twitter, as it seems like we have yet another add-on controversy on our hands.
If you're not aware, the Final Fantasy 14 raiding community has a tough team with cheats, as it went through a bit of a scandal during the world's first race to beat The Omega Protocol in Endwalker, as a team called UNNAMED_ were found to have used plugins for an unfair advantage.
A very similar situation occurred during Dragonsong's Reprise Ultimate as well, as Square Enix was forced to make a statement following the discovery that a team called Neverland used third-party tools. Hopefully, GRIND is actually squeaky clean, and we can celebrate the team's achievement drama-free this time around.
