PostsGiven how popular the Gyr Abanian Plait is with players, I think this could be a new contender for favourite hairstyle for many. If you're wondering how to snag this beautiful new style for your Warrior of Light, here's everything you need to know.
How To Unlock The Bold And The Braid Hairstyle
You can purchase the Bold and the Braid hairstyle from Trisassant in Old Sharlayan at (X:12.0, Y:13.3), though they don't accept regular old gil I'm afraid. You'll need six Aloalo Potsherds in order to buy this.
If Trisassant doesn't appear for you, you most likely need to progress the main scenario quest and undertake the Variant & Criterion Dungeon content.
The Bold and the Braid hairstyle is compatible with characters of any gender or race, and if you don't feel like running content yourself to earn Potsherds, you can simply purchase it from the Market Board, too.
Where Can I Get Aloalo Potsherds?
Aloalo Potsherds can be obtained from the Aloalo Island Variant Dungeon added in patch 6.51.
How To Change Your Hairstyle
By interacting with a Crystal Bell in any inn room in any city-state (or your FC house if you have a bell), you can summon the Aesthetician and change your hairstyle.
You can check out our guide on how to unlock the Aesthetician and use their services here.
