There's a lot to explore in the Highlands, and as dog, you'll need to stop and rest every now and then. To fully appreciate the beauty of Orkney and the raging seas, it's best to take a seat and watch. Thankfully, there are plenty of spaces to do just that with Chesley and his beloved human companion!

There are a total of 12 benches across the islands for you to find, and many of them are hidden. We've found them all and will help you do the same so you can fully experience everything in Farewell North. Here's where to find every bench so you can fully rest and relax.

Sealladh Bench Locations

There are two benches to be found in Sealladh, and both of them are close together. Their locations are as follows:

• By the sea. You'll find a bench near the shore by the rocks to the left of the gate you enter through.
• On the rocks. Head towards the stone bridge that shattered to the left of the gate. Down by the glowing flower is the next bench.

Teaghlach Bench Locations

In Teaghlach, there are two benches to find. As you explore your childhood home, it's hard to find everything all in one go. However, we'll help you find each of these resting places.

• Beside the old house. Go to the picnic bench on the cliffs and you'll find a bench overlooking the sea.
• Hidden in the trail. Before you reach the gate to race to the docks, you can take a detour to the right to find a bench in a hidden clearing.

Bron Bench Location

There's only one bench to be found in Bron, and it's easy to miss the first time around if you're focused on the story. You can find it as you leave the ruins of the castle and move towards the graveyard.

The bench is in the clearing between the two landscapes, where you originally have to find the green mitten during the main story. Take a moment to rest here before moving on to find the other benches.

Uair Bench Locations

There are only two benches in Uair, but they're well-placed at both ends of the island. You'll end up backtracking to find them if you pass by them, but they're thankfully not difficult to find. The bench locations in Uair are as follows:

• Between the three mountains. You'll find a bench sitting in the clearing near the campfire.
• Overlooking the wind turbines. Before entering the Campbell's farm, circle around the cliff to take a seat at the bench and watch the turbines.

Soraidh Bench Locations

There's a single bench to be found in Soraidh, and it's incredibly easy to miss due to the heavy snow. You'll find this bench tucked away in a hidden corner of the island, where Cailey first gets the canoe stuck.

In this spot, you'll find two glowing flowers within range of each other. Head down the slope to the lower flower, then take a turn around the cliffs to find the bench and rest.

Additional Bench Locations

In addition to the main island, there are several smaller skerries for you to explore to find benches. These are missable benches as they aren't tied to the main story, so you're likely to pass by them in your adventure.

If you're having trouble locating these skerries, you can pull up your compass to see which direction you should go in.

• Linga Holm Skerry. You can find this bench on the rocks to the right of the dock, overlooking the sea.
• Eday Skerry. After following the sheep to the peak, you'll find a bench sitting to the right of the sheep tracks.
• Nevi Skerry. There's a single bench overlooking the duck pond.
• Faray Skerry. There's a bench on the cliff to the left of the dock, overlooking the canoe.
