Throughout the Fallout series, some of the most iconic equipment includes Power Armor. There are several ways to obtain it in Fallout Shelter, but it won't be easy. Here's everything you need to know to get your own set of Power Armor so you can explore the wasteland in style with your Dwellers.

How To Find Power Armor

Finding Power Armor is the tricky part. It's a legendary item, making it incredibly rare. Thankfully, there are a few ways to get it – and a couple guaranteed ways to unlock sets of it.

It's important to note that there are different models of Power Armor, and each model has different stats.

Open Lunchboxes

When you open a Lunchbox, there's a chance you'll find Power Armor inside. This is a rare occurrence, but it's not impossible. While one of the easiest ways to get Power Armor, it takes time to get more Lunchboxes.

Check your objectives often and remove any that you can't complete to try and find one with a Lunchbox as a reward!

You can purchase them using real money or you can earn them by completing objectives and watching ads.

Certain questlines can reward you with Power Armor. The Vault 33 quests reward you with powerful Dwellers and a suit of scarred Power Armor at the end of the line.

The Horsemen of the Post-Apocalyse questline can provide you with Power Armor, though you'll need to get through most of it for the chance to find it.

You can also complete the Brotherhood of Steel questline to unlock Sarah Lyons, who comes equipped with T-45f Power Armor. This process can be sped up using Nuka Cola Quantum, otherwise you'll spend a few days traveling to and from each quest.

How To Craft Power Armor

Additionally, you can always craft Power Armor. The problem is that you'll need to find the blueprint for it in the wasteland – which can be tricky.

You'll need to send five or more dwellers into the wasteland for a shot at finding the armor you want.

Once you have the legendary armor recipe, you'll need to save up your junk to craft it. Each variant has a different amount of materials needed, but the most commonly used materials are:

  • Legendary Giddyup Buttercup
  • Military Circuit Board
  • Camera
  • Wonderglue

Craft the Power Armor you want in the Outfit Workshop, and make sure to assign Dwellers with high SPECIAL stats to ensure that it's made as quickly as possible.

Different Power Armor variants have different stat boosts! Keep your eyes peeled for which suits will help your Dwellers best.
