After Oblivion Remastered, Fans Are Hoping Fallout: New Vegas Gets The Same Treatment

Summary
- After Oblivion Remastered, everyone is discussing what other older games should get the same treatment.
- Fallout: New Vegas is a popular contender.
- Fans think the remaster could fix many longstanding bugs, and add in cut content.
Oblivion Remastered is a huge hit, amassing four million players just a few days after it shadowdropped. The general consensus is that fans love it because it's so faithful to the original game, just giving everything a new coat of paint and adding in some quality of life features.
It's enough to get fans thinking about what other older games should get the same treatment. Naturally, one of the first games mentioned was Morrowind, since for many, that's the height of the series. Rumour also has it that a Fallout 3 remaster is on the way, which many are looking forward to. However, there is a title that combines the nostalgia for that era of Fallout with the love of RPGs like Morrowind, and that is Fallout: New Vegas.

Like New Vegas, The Elder Scrolls is (kind of) getting outsourced.
Posts 1For many, this is the game most deserving of an Oblivion Remastered-style re-release. Many even have ideas as to how a developer could go about this, giving Fallout: New Vegas the chance to reach its true potential.
Fallout Fans Really Want New Vegas To Get A Remaster Like Oblivion Remastered
Whenever there's a social media post about the next big remaster, New Vegas is one of the top contenders.
"A Fallout 3 or New Vegas remaster in the same vein as the Oblivion remaster but with gunplay akin to Fallout 4 would be awesome," says Reddit user smolgote.
Equivalent_Cicada153 adds: "FNV with fo76 power armor, and fo4 gun modification would be the perfect trifecta."
Some add that New Vegas is the most deserving because the original game had to be rushed. "New Vegas has always been unfinished imo, give them this chance before all else," argues KmartCentral.
"[New Vegas] had so many bugs and crashed so many times and yet I could not stop playing it," Manaeldar says. "A remaster would probably make my life complete."
For now, New Vegas fans at least have the next season of the Fallout show to keep them busy, since this is incorporating a whole lot of elements from the game.
