Funko Fusion: How To Beat The Eddy Fox Boss Fight

So you've started Funko Fusion, and you're ready to jump into the world of fabulous cameos in the game. From the Umbrella Academy to Jurassic World and so many more, you'll be on a wild ride on a quest playing as your favorite Funko Pop characters from some of the biggest shows and movies.

I don't actually collect Funko figurines, but digital ones sure are fun to play with.

Before that though, you'll have to do a tutorial in which you unravel the story of the game. Get ready for some shocking moments early on as the main villain, Eddy, is revealed, and he's ready to destroy you and everyone else to get his way.

How To Get To Eddy

At the start of the game, you'll be in a sort of hub world for whatever movie or show you pick. Follow the marker to the objective in the room with the arrow pointing upward. Once you get inside, you'll see a fox trapped in a security room with two locks on the door.

Speak to him, then shoot the locks off. He'll then ask you to switch characters. Once you do so, speak to him again. After some dialogue, the purple goo covering the chests will turn into enemies to fight. Destroy all the enemies in your way.

The larger enemy will be dazed when shot; you'll then need to run up and melee attack him. Continue this cycle until he's defeated.

The ghost-type enemies will throw projectiles your way, so be sure to handle them as well so you won't get hit when you aren't looking.

Stand in the back left corner by the door when the enemies begin to approach. There is no chest there, so you'll have the best vantage point to attack without being ambushed from the back.

Once you've dispatched them all, help the fox recover, then you'll learn how to restore health and use items.

With the purple smoke gone, you can now open the chests. Take the glowing blue items in each chest to the blue Funko build station. Once you've inserted all three, you'll be able to build a bounce pad.

Mould the bounce pad, place it next to the security office the Fox was in, and jump on it to reach the top of the office. Once there, grab the fuse, jump back down, and insert it into the wall to open the door.

After a cutscene and some exploration, talk to Freddy to begin the Eddy boss fight.

How To Beat Eddy

Once the fight begins, Eddy will face you and start to throw projectile purple goo at you. Run away to steer clear of this if you can.

You'll need to shoot Eddy on the purple ooze sprouting from his body. You can see this on the left side of his body near his shoulder, on his right eye, and on the back of his head.

Once you shoot the purple ooze, several purple balls will fall off of Eddy and sit in the area. Run up to collect them, and they'll float around you.

Take these to the large cylinder tube in front of Freddy's desk, and interact with it to fill it with the ooze. You'll be able to fill the tube up by ten each time, so you'll need to repeat this process three times.

During the fight, Eddy will summon more minions like the ones you fought in the previous room. Shooting them is enough to take them down, except for the larger one.

As before, you'll need to shoot it to daze it, then use melee attacks to destroy it.

Eddy will also raise his foot and slam it down, creating a wide wave of AoE damage that pushes outward from the impact. When he does this, be prepared to jump over the wave of purple ooze to avoid taking damage.

Once you've done this three times and filled the tube up to 30, the tube will begin to glow golden. Go in front of the tube and press the button on the ground to activate it, ending the fight and watching the next cutscene as it plays out.
