- Versatile Cartie Build
Endless Dungeon has eight unique, varied characters to play with, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and strategies to learn and embrace. They are also customisable, thanks to the chips available at the Saloon Workshop - these handy upgrades can change and buff a hero's abilities significantly, allowing for specialised builds.

Bunker is the perfect tank in Endless Dungeon. Here's how to boost her abilities even further.
PostsCartie, one of the more supportive characters in the game, has some very powerful and flexible options when it comes to her role in the dungeon. With one of the most useful abilities in the game and chips that alter her playstyle significantly, nailing down an effective build for Cartie is a recipe for success.
Best Chips For Cartie
Cartie is a support character. Unlike Shroom and her healing, Cartie's support comes primarily from her ability to debuff enemies with a ranged, AoE stun ability and a passive that buffs any allies close by. She works best when paired with highly offensive heroes as a result, powering them up and setting up easy, quick kills.
Unfortunately, this commitment to support means Cartie is a little lacking in the offence and defence departments, and she's a bit lacking in Wits to make a dedicated turret mechanic. That said, she has some very powerful builds that can help carry a team to victory.
As a result of her dedication to support, Cartie works best in a team of three rather than a team of two, since she's more effective when able to buff two allies.
We've suggested two builds below. One focuses on Cartie's intrinsic skills and emphasises her support role, while the other is a more general build that revolves around Cartie's powerful and potent ultimate skill.

Description
Wide Circulation
2 Cells
This chip improves Cartie's active skill by giving it a larger radius. This means more enemies will be caught within the skill and stunned, making it a far more useful panic button when being swarmed by enemies.
Breakthrough Research
2 Cells
Similar to the above, this chip is focused on improving Cartie's active skill. It improves the skill's efficiency by a whole 50%, making it last longer. With this, you'll be able to stun far more packs of enemies, allowing your allies to decimate them easily.
Mobile Library
4 Cells
The only advance chip this build needs, Mobile Library improves Cartie's passive skill, which provides a boost to the active skills of any other heroes near her. While this does slow Cartie down a little bit, the tradeoff is worth it.
You will need the Chipsmithy Saloon upgrade before you can get Mobile Library.
There are some caveats to this Cartie build. Firstly, it doesn't provide any offensive or defensive buffs, so Cartie is essentially a mobile support turret.
That being said, she's a very effective support turret and will pair exceptionally well with heroes with powerful and useful active skills, like Zed and Blaze.
This build is particularly well-suited to being controlled by the computer. The AI is very effective at dodging and will use Cartie's active skill with impunity, often contributing massively to chaotic firefights.

Description
Wide Circulation
2 Cells
While this isn't a fully support-oriented build, the effectiveness of Wide Circulation cannot be denied - it's the perfect chip to slot into basically any Cartie build. Her active skill is just that powerful in how easily it shuts down even the most annoying enemies.
Burden of Knowledge
4 Cells
This chip is the star of this build. In exchange for a hefty penalty to Cartie's movement speed, this chip upgrades her Ultimate Skill significantly. Not only is the cooldown reduced by 40% but it's given a 50% damage bonus. This makes Cartie's ultimate skill a bit more spammable and gives her a big damage button that's incredibly effective all the way to the end of the game.
Robotics Professor
5 Cells
This chip explicitly only boosts the Crystal Bot, but since the Crystal Bot is a crucial part of the game, it's a very useful boost to have. Having this chip plus a buffed ultimate skill turns Cartie into a prime Crystal Bot defender and escort.
You will need the Chipsmithy Saloon upgrade before you can get Burden of Knowledge and Robotics Professor.
This is a versatile Cartie build. While it's not as 'all-in' with support as the previous build, a Cartie with this build is still an effective support but also gets enough buffs to shine on her own. Her ultimate skill is given a tremendous buff with Burden of Knowledge, and you can rely on Cartie to be a brilliant Crystal Bot escort with Robotics Professor.
This more general Cartie can fit well with any allies, though she still prefers to buff those with more raw power.
Thanks to her reduced movement speed with this build, Cartie prefers heavy guns with very long ranges. If any sniper rifle-type weapons turn up, they'd go well with Cartie.
